Rodger Pettichord Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Hi all. From MS 2000 to P3D4, there has been one plane I keep coming back to--the King Air 350. I've flown the length of the Americas with it and done all sorts of flights involving all the continents. In the end, this is my girl. And that brings us to this week's topic. THIS WEEK'S MEANINGLESS TOPIC: If you were limited to one plane in flight simulation, which one would it be? 2
Stillwater Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Realair Lancair Legacy. Can be started and landed on small airfields, is quick enough to cover some distance and can get up to 15000+ feet. 1 1
John Heaton Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 A2A - Piper Comanche which will soon be in 2020 and that means I can leave P3D 1 1
larryisenor Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Very difficult. I fly the Mooney Bravo a lot as it is good for sight-seeing but if I could only have one it would have to be a 737 - currently I fly the I-Fly version but have also used PMDG's previously. Larry 2 1
VH-KDK Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 I like the DHC-2 Beaver, with floats, skis and wheels at can go almost anywhere. Also it has a beautiful radial engine! 1 4
Kodiak73 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 I have to agree with Martyn, the Beaver is pretty versatile! 2 1 1
gumbypickett Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Tough question. I'll stick with the Airbus A320. cheers Gumby 2 1
Sniper31 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 I am also with the DHC-2 Beaver. Love that plane! 3 2
TerribleT Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 C337 - good carrier, good range and STOL capability 1 2
adambar Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 When I'm able and stable I enjoy Amphibious aircraft. That way I can land anywhere and enjoy my garlic bologna sandwich and carbonated beverage right out of the ice cold lake. 2 2
boetie Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 This is really unfair Rodger. I'm going to have to think about this one for a while 6
wain71 Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 yeah I would imagine we have different one's in different categories, or even sims, Ill give an example P3D-PA-28R ARROWIII XP11-THRANDA CARAVAN MSFS-FENIX A320.... I know I broke the rules, but heh this heat is making me feel like a rebel, and there's no beer in my fridge... 2 3 2
Rob Abernathy Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 I'd go with an amphibious STOL aircraft. I can go anywhere, well maybe not to 35,000' but anywhere on land/water. 3 3
