Rodger Pettichord Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 Hi all. I've been flying a C-7 Caribou in southeast Asia partly as research for a novel and partly because I love the C-7. Time has come to fly other planes elsewhere, but I'm in a dilemma--what plane and where? Which leads to this week's topic. THIS WEEK'S MEANINGLESS TOPIC: what is your favorite plane and where do you most like flying it? 3 1
W2DR Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 KMRY and down the coast to Big Sur. It was the first leg of my first solo. Never to be forgotten..........Doug 5

Popular Post flyingleaf Posted April 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 23, 2022 C 47 with my trusted Mule Team crew in Alaska. Ferrying passengers who are on a "No fly list" all over Alaska and charging them exuberant prices for beer and for fresh or not so fresh Fish Haggis sandwiches served by our wonderful Air Maiden Hilda, who has a pet Grizzly, yep, and his name is Yogi. Bye the bye T-Bone and I are on a holiday since Yogi is coming out of hibernation and neither I nor T was too wild about meeting a hungry Grizzly who was sleeping for six months. Ah well I digress, lets have a few beers. Cheers my fellow pilots and to the best forum. k 3 5 2
John York Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Grizzly's ugh. Give me the good old UK any day where the fiercest animal you are likely to meet is a friendly dog! 4 1

gregmorin Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 My most used aircraft is the Milviz B407 helicopter with 1,388 flights and 6,234 landings. I use for new scenery and overall RW flights. Second and most used fixed wing is the PMDG 737-800 with 982 flights and 1,096 landings. I fly all over the world in P3DV5.3. Greg 4 2

YAMBA1 Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 I fly a kite in the backyard, and you can sometime see me flying it at the Yamba beach. Oops you meant planes? That another story, I am an imaginary Captain! But seriously Fly by Wire 320 neoxxx with my de facto 1st Officer from MultiCrewX. I enjoy every moment when my french accent gets in the way and the so called 1st Officer shuts down my engines during take off..... Sacre Bleu 2
