I thought it was South England by Beachy Head :(

Need to do more explorations then

That really looks close. And, yes, I would also suspect the Dover coast by the picture. But it´s not!

A little closer to home for me , how about Whidbey Island here in Washington State ? .

Cheers

John

I did not know that Whidbey Island also has white cliffs. However, I am still in Europe.

Rügen? :)

This would be the second famous white cliffs to me. But: No.

I guess its not there then Gerold!

The Jurassic Coast is on the south coast of England between Exmouth and Studland Bay.

Correct Paul: That was not the place.

Island Man between Scotland and Ireland?

Sorry, also not. I think I could give a little more help:

- Europe.

- Southern Europe.

- Not more than an hours (airliner) flight from my last city exploration.

I have some coconut already prepared for the lucky winner. "Contest" will be closed tomorrow evening.

Southern Europe you say , time to put my thinking cap on ; but Whidbey Island does have some white cliffs :

Great view, and a good learning for me, John!

Algarve coast, south Portugal near Sagres?

Not bad YD. Though I think there are only red cliffs near Sagres (and huge waves)?

If there are  white cliffs on the English side, stands to reason there are similar cliffs on the French side.  They were joined once (before my time) - wonder if they still interlock.

Wise thinking OnD, and I am not sure if these cliffs still exist. But I am a bit further south...

Home in your easy chair watching the telly and laughing as we grasp at straws? :)

Rodger, my friend. I am running around and wonder who´ll find it out!

Balearic islands then  :D

Here I go departing Mallorca in search of those bloody cliffs  B)

Another interesting attempt Carlos. And once again the question: Are there also white cliffs on the Balearics? I don´t know...

Gibraltar!

The British wont give it back to the Spanish so they are taking it bit by bit when no one is looking!:-

And probably it is easier to bite today before Brexit makes that awful border even more painful. You can have 1-2 hours of traffic jam nowadays already, but what happens if customs take their toll?

A couple more guesses -

Sagres in Portugal

Etretat in France

:)

Good places, good attempts. We´ll have lots of options in the Orbx world...

Bonifacio und seine weissen Felsen

Sorry Pezi. Bonifacio sits on nice rocks, but they don´t seem to be white enough.

How about Getxo , Spain ? .

And here we have a winner :D. Mr. Bowen from Washington State has explored the Bilbao scenery well enough to exactly know these rocks! CONGRETULATIONS!

I´ll send you the well-deserved coconut by e-mail!

I don't have Bilbao

But the sunset I had searching for them on Balearic island was fantastic!  Won't regret it. I did find some cliffs but didn't look as white as in your pic. Be my guest to fly the islands, they're so nice!

Wow, a great find Carlos! That was really worth the search. And the post!

That was fun.  Hope somebody does another one (in a new thread).  BradB aka John from the great state of Washington should do the honors.

Good suggestion, Mark. I hope @BradB reads it and knows what to do!
