  1. Are there any news on how OpenLC Asia is progressing? An update on the matter would be highly appreciated.
  2. That's a good thing, thanks for letting me know.
  3. Smashing shots! The rhino on the hillside is for real?
  4. I got 120, too, but what do I buy with them now? Is there an overview of what you can purchase with Orbs?
  5. I would love to hear how it's going! Edit: I've just seen this. https://fselite.net/content/fscgaa-releases-ulaanbaatar-chinggis-khaan-for-prepar3d/ I want to fly there, but I won't without OpenLC Asia. Mongolia it just too ugly in the vanilla sim.
  6. I took the liberty to closely examine your screenshot Gerold and I think I know for sure where you're going. Genieße deinen Urlaub. Have fun!
  7. It may not be perfect, but it's still damn cool! I didn't know, for example, that each of the pyramids had its own harbour, or that the Sphinx was located so close to one of those harbours. Fascinating stuff!
  8. Shocking news. A distant constancy during my lifetime, Rest in Peace.
  9. I admit I feel a little bit ashamed as I just happened to find this thread by pure accident. And I'm humbled by all your best wishes. So many of you made the effort to write something nice here. Thank you all very much! Thank you very much, Martyn! That's what I wish for, too. Thank you very much, Gumby. Indeed I had a very good meal with a nice view. Thank you, Rodger. July 19th was the hottest day of the summer here and it started this year's heat season, which I hope is done now... Thank you much, John. Thank you, too, Wayne. Thank you very much, Karl. I hope you're doing a lot of flights with your DC-3. Thank you, too! Thank you Gerold. A 777 flight is always worth considering... Thank you, Paul! Muchísimas gracias amigo. ¿Eres de este signo también? Vielen Dank für die guten Wünsche! Thank you very much, Sir!
  10. I lost my jaw bones by looking at your screenshots, Carlos...
  11. Great set of shots, Jack! Nice to see that remote areas finally get some love.
  12. Given the wattage that simming sucks out of the power grid, I'd say better don't tell ze Baerbock.
  13. Fantastic shots, Bernd! Truly a marvellous landscape. Is the ice static or depends its extension on the season?
  14. This would have never happened if you had bought an electric car.
  15. Great shot, especially the last one. It's surprising to see that you can have your framerate displayed in P3D/FSX style even in MSFS...
  16. Epic shot! Is "speedboid" Boston accent?
  17. Very good narration, Gerold. To aliviate the night flights, I sometimes use the time preview function, so that I can take at least some pictures. But then again, other flights are so stuffed with sight seeing that I end up with a lot of nearly identical pictures.
  18. Brilliant and epic, the key adjectives have already been mentioned.
  19. Thank you Gerold for the great trip report! It makes me want to fly the 777 again, but I have four different 737 flights ahead before I start a new rotation. I should casually remind myself that it's a hobby... Your trip also reminds me of my trip with the Air France 777 to Capetown. There's always a lot of thunderstorms in Central Africa, I remember having to make huge diversions and fly around entire countries due to the weather. How was the weather during your trip? Did you have a lot of thunderstorms along the way?
