That was brilliant Martyn!  More superb narrative, I wish I had more time to do this because it makes it all come alive with place names.  Stillwater, I reckon Gerold will love it!

Many thanks Jack, I hope I have brightened your day with these.

I am still waiting for a response from Gerold though.:o

Martyn, your thread titles never disappoint, sir!

Never a clue what in the heck you could possibly be on about, but then I click and read and suddenly it all makes perfect sense -- every time.

Thanks Ripcord, I am glad you have learned something today especially about one of the greatest singers of all time.:)

Hi Martyn.It was RL.

I spent nearly all my life in Canada.I was born

in Ireland and my family went to Canada when I was eight years old.

My family are still in BC.I now live near the Brindabella ranges SW of

Canberra.

I still have a strong Canadian accent EH.

Regards....Anthin.

Thanks Anthin, you have sure lived in some very different places.

I hope you like the land down under!

Awesome shots, love the look of that plane taking off from the bay. Nothing better than bush whacking in BC! :)

Thanks for commenting, a beautiful area to fly in but sadly I didn't have my tundra tyres on this day!:(

Howdy Martyn, your Mars is brilliant. As good is your geographic description. And even better the fact there is some Stillwater in it here!

Cheers Gerold, I have to behave as I never know where you will pop up with your trusty camera taking some incriminating photos.:o

I now feel at home here.No more travelling

for me.

Anthin.

That is good news Anthin, I came directly from Eastleigh/Southampton in 1981 but I have still managed to move around a few towns in Victoria.:)
