Adam Banks
Such a great aircraft, the He111. I always thought it a shame that such a handsome aircraft was turned into a bomber. Adam.

Mac_Maddog88
They better scramble some fighters. Great shot. As others have said, it is a shame that such a cool looking passenger plane was turned into a bomber. Would be interesting to see if people have restored any of these 111s. Frank Schnibben
Great shot and plane Wolter! .... Would be interesting to see if people have restored any of these 111s. ..would love to see a live one flyingStu Only few of them have survived. This is a restoration project (2000 to 2009) of the Deutsches Museum Munich in cooperation with the German Luftwaffe - built under license in Spain as 'Casa 2.111' and in service with the Spanish Air Force until 1967 (!). It's in an airworthy condition (theoretically):http://www.deutsches-museum.de/en/flugwerft/information/aircraft-restoration/projects/he-111/http://www.deutsches-museum.de/en/flugwerft/information/aircraft-restoration/projects/he-111/restoration/Another perfectly restorated He 111 in the RAF Museum Hendon (London), photo by Craig Moore:http://aircraft-photographs.s3-website-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/aircraft-ww2-german--luftwaffe-heinkel-he111-bomber.html
