Chelan Mun. Do you remember these two FSX missions starting here?

The valley to the left is where we all picked up the "missing coworker". In much worse scenery and weather.

And Stehekin was the place for tricky landings.

Great shots and really ? In picture 6 I thought that was you hanging from the bottom of the aircraft. Drunk again. . Only joking, and nice to see FSX again. Derek

That is the reason why I had to pause the sim for taking the shot.

Excellent shots! The first and last ones are my favorites. I love those little details.

I can´t get enough of them. Good luck we have many variations to choose from.

Well done Gerold. A beautiful trip down memory lane. :)

Yes, I love these memories. Even if they are just virtual.

Nice shots!!!!  Nice bird too!  Is that the Milviz King Air?

Thanks JJJ! No, this is the old Carenado one. The Milviz should be much more complicated and maybe a challenge for later times...

Cool tour Gerold, and yes, I really miss a lot of the FSX missions, I did them a lot for run, especially the Hawaiian one.

Indeed Jack, these missions were great. Did you ever find the waterfalls hidden at the east end of Molokai? Me not... :'(

Ah, a misunderstanding, TTM. The places were famous in FSX, but the sim used is P3D.

:banghead:

Really!

Gerold!

I've spent 15 hours uninstalling P3D & reinstalling FSX!!!

All for nought!!

Actually, there are many aircraft that fly in FSX that I don't see in P3D & having FSX on a spare PC in the future is not necessarily a nut case approach.

The Historic Vintage Airliner Group for instance has many aircraft & liveries that I would welcome in P3D, but they remain wedded to FS2004 & FSX, unfortunately.

If you will excuse me I will go & reinstall P3D & back out FSX:)

No worries, TTM, you can grab out your p3d-CDs and let your disc drive work.

I have kept some FSX planes as well, and even have a fake FSX installment on a separate SSD. What I did never try is starting one of the FSX missions in p3d, could be interesting to see...
