Eugene Street, Raglan with Bathurst town to the left.

Some snow around the Vulcan State Forest.

The southern end of Lake Burragorang in the Lower Blue Mountains.

The Hume Hwy at Yerrinbool

Lake Nepean.

7.JMIoHZ3.jpg

Dropping down the Illawarra Escarpment over Dapto.

Approaching YWOL, still a little high after being distracted by the flap motors still running on full flap.

Once a big airliner the Constellation now looks very small next to the 744.

Feeling old as not too long ago the 744 was the front line equipment of so many airlines.

Hope you enjoyed the flight.

 Taking off from Brätwurst, I   And another thing, I did not know that Mr. Spock was from Oz, but then I guess that would be logical (Vulcan Forest)!  These are some mighty fancy schmancy shoots fur sure, I really like #6, X marks the spot on that river!

I love the 744 on display.

As much as I was confused by #3 - I just don´t connect Australia with this white material on the ground.

Thank you Gerold, not far for me to get to the snow but I don't have enough money for that.:(

Thanks Roger. Spock was a very enterprising being, so they tell me.

A very nice tour along Australia, though the snow surprised me. One pic looks cold, the next one looks hot again!

Cheers Lars and many people are surprised by both the snow and the cold.:o

There are many instances where people become lost in the mountains in winter and succumb to the cold.

There were also avalanche warnings a few weeks ago in the ski areas warning people to remain on the marked trails for safety.
