You caused quite a flap with you flight Jack.

Beautiful skies in your images.:)

I did?    I think I lost some feathers in the clouds.  Glad you liked them Martyn.  I'd like to try this same route in three planes, the A320, 717, and 737.  The airports are the right length for these jets and it's around 230 miles.  Actually a lot shorter distance than I thought almost north to south across Spain.

Cheers Jack but don't loose too many feathers or those Griffon Vultures will consider you fair game.

I have done this flight in a freeware A320 out of LEBL and I found it a most enjoyable trip.:)

NIce shots @JackSawyer

That Bilbao seems very nice too.

May I ask something? I have the impression you said you got a new computer...

Would you mind sharing your hardware configuration? The lool of your shots are amazing ^_^

I'm currently suffering:

Slow texture to load

Freezing for seconds

If paused when play again the sound is gone and then makes a strange sound and crashes

If textures are blurry and I refresh my pmdg gets hald levery and then crashes

The flying seems like it wants to stop, I mean the frame rates tend to be slow or the image "jumps"

So I'm starting to suspect that my hardware could have suffered a damage. Electricity goes here very often and everything shuts down with an awful sound (having bought yet a ups) and the computer usually blocks to prevent damages and have to do the F1 stuff etc.

But thinking in investiing I would like a sort of best harware recommendations for P3D

This is what I have

2T Hard disk

i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40 ghz

Ram 8 gigas

64 bit windows

Motherboard ASUS

GeForce GTX 1050

(just realized there is a new controller by checking this info, downloading, hopes it improves)

I think the equipment isn't that bad, is it?

Hope you don't mind me asking so

Cheers

Thanks Martyn, my feathers are glued in place with Gorilla Glue! ^_^

I liked using the G1000 to make a GPS approach and it transitioned to ILS, disconnect the A/P and made a nice landing.

Hi Carlos, and thanks!

I'm wondering if you have your sliders set too high as that hardware was better than my last PC.  One thing I didn't do was have Hyperthreading turn on in the BIOS but I don't know if this will help you or not as every PC is different.  Anyway, here's my PC specs, it's brand new.

Great series.  The Catalan are to the Spanish like the Scots are to the English.....but maybe even more serious sometimes.

Thanks Ian.  I never really thought about it that way.  I've been to Madrid and Zaragoza in the 1980's for a month and didn't have time to tour a lot.  But the people I met were very nice.

Wonderful shots Jack. You ventured from the center north to the northeast. You flew along the Pyrenees from west to east.

Thanks Lars, and thank you for the geography lesson!  I wouldn't have known that and now I do, this is what I love about this site, I learn so much.  I can tell you the Pyrenees off in the distance looked very high quality in Orbx land!

Awesome shots Jack.  I had to wait a minute to see them though, because I was laughing so hard at your one liner at the start .

Nice tour, Jack... the pyrenees are always worth flying around them. And I remember there are some freeware orbx airstrips up there, too!

Thanks Gerold, yeah, I saw a ton on the G1000.  Lots of airports to explore along this route.  Europe is so pretty!
