  1. So, I’m fairly confident in saying it’s a sim issue, I have seen the same issue at other airports but not Samos, but I’m yet to find out what’s causing it
  2. Nice shots Gerold, the majority of my Australia flights in P3D were either in or out of Cairns Completely agree, I love flying round Oz and there's a few bigger airports we still need Orbx (or partner) renditions of
  3. No problem, it's not a massive issue, I just did a flight into UKBB tonight and thought I'd ask
  4. @pyreegueI know it isn't the most major issue and personally wouldn't want this to stop development of new airports but are you planning an update for UKBB? More specifically the jetways as they are still the default ones and you have custom ones at your other airports? Thanks
  5. It was mentioned on another thread that although developers sometimes take into considerations requests like these, often the airports chosen are airports the developers want to do, bearing in mind a lot of products on here are through 3rd parties or indi devs, so I would think only the airports created by Havant studios are chosen by Orbx, but how the studio decides which airports, I don't know. That being said I would a Orbx LPMA (personally for MSFS)
  6. Fumicino is being done by MKStudio's - I think they are releasing in Q1, also they have teased another airport in Ireland, I think it's Cork over Shannon, but I'd love Shannon for the BA A318 when we get it
  7. Yes! I know it's a while off but it would be amazing if you could include the business park on the site with all the hotels and maybe a lightly detailed Donington Circuit off the end of 09? I've spent many a night in those hotels staying for an early flight or a day to Donington
  8. I think Marcus Nyberg is working or has planned ESSA, I recall him saying he wasn't sure after it was included in the nordic update but I said a payware rendition was still needed
  9. The Orbx made LKPR seems to be very close, the official trailer was released just before Christmas and there's another being previewed of the Aerosoft forum I know EGPE has been done but I wasn't aware EGPD or EGAA have? I thought this would be the case, unfortunately even though MSFS has opened the world with it's scenery it hasn't stopped issues of older sims where we're unlikely to get airports in Africa/Asia/South America due to poor satellite imagery and inadequate photography. A few people have asked for airports that have been made already/in progress, imho, I would prefer airports that haven't been touched yet, as Carlos said, even in MSFS we have some airports with already multiple iterations where some big flight sim airports have been neglected, for example EIDW and EFHK have been mentioned but the current versions on Orbx are adequate and imo don't justify the need for a second version, A few suggestions for the area you mention but outside the UK, Oslo, Bergen, Lyon, Valencia, Malaga, Hamburg, Venice, Menorca (unsure if any of these are wip/done)
  10. Like EGKK above there's already a does the job LEBL, imo it'd be better to see airports that haven't been done yet rather than 2/3 versions of the same one
  11. I know what you mean, if EMA is chosen, at least along with EDI/GLA we'll have a few UK airports for heavies when they eventually release
  12. Love it! Two airports that have been slighty underrepresented in the past. I'd buy anything if you are wanting to stay in the UK. East Mids, Doncaster, Norwich, Exeter, Jersey/Guernsey and a bit smaller but still great (and close to me) Humberside and Isle of Man. If size isn't an issue, MSFS needs a high quality Heathrow, If you aren't committed to the UK, then I have enough suggestions to keep you in business for decades
  13. Looks great, where/what scenery is the last 3 pictures?
  14. I would say the official trailer means LKPR is close to release and the upcoming page has innocently been forgot, I wouldn't read into the page not being updated. I would say to give Orbx a bit of slack, it is Christmas and New Year and I would say most of the staff and currently having a deserved break and will probably return this week and we'll probably hear news soon
  15. Providing there is green ticks next to your products, available updates will show in the top right of central
  16. Great news, I have always wanted an amazing rendition of EGPD to do some Eastern Airways Ops (well if/when we get the right aircraft)
  17. Agreed, although the 21 roadmap only arrived in April, so might be the same
  18. Happy new year everyone, hopefully it's a good one for everyone
  19. This is the same for me, did you install your addons straight into your community folder and then copy paste them out into another folder for addon linker? But however you did it they are installed. If you go into addon linker and ‘turn on’ all your scenery, then they’ll turn green in Orbx (providing you restarted Central) and then you’ll be able to check for updates
  20. Well said John, it's no secret I love MSFS, for me it's the best sim I've owned (I've had every MS and LM sims and version since FS2002, bar v5), once I return to real life flying (GA) I will probably use MSFS as a training platform before flights, something that can be done better than in other sims because of the scenery. This plays into what do you look for in a sim, for me, yes the aircraft are the main thing, I am really looking forward to PMDG, A2A, Fenix, etc in MSFS, but the scenery is a massive part as well, and any other thing that can complete the immersion of 'being an airline pilot', something that unfortunately I can't do in real life due to a disability. So simulating it is the next best thing. Yes MSFS brought a lot of 'gamers' into the community and even ex-simmers back. The community needed that, Robert from PMDG recently said how the FS community was in steady decline even before MSFS was a thing, whether people like it or not MSFS breathed life back into the community, and the 'gamers' that joined, even if 5-10% of them stayed and kept using to become 'serious simmers', that's good, I don't think I have ever seen the level of interaction/new 3rd party devs etc as there is now. There was 24,000 responses, I'd put a bet on the majority were simmers, how big is the likelihood that someone that bought the game to fly in a 'gamer' way will have heard of Orbx or an other outlet to be directed to the survey? For those who might be classed as gamers but have stumbled into the world of 3rd party, surely they are now classed a "beginner simmers" if they are looking to add to their sim. Finally W2DR, I don't think a section of the P3D crowd realise how many people who used P3D have switched to MSFS already or planning to once product A, B or C is available for MSFS, it's 2022 tomorrow (or maybe now) surely the community would be better if we didn't have the stupid, snobbish comments of you're not a simmer as you use MSFS
  21. Couple of things, that's just a teaser, I meant the actual announcements found in, https://forum.orbxdirect.com/forum/7-Orbx-preview-announcements-screenshots-and-videos/ Secondly I said generally not every time, for example ESSB was announced earlier in the dev cycle and LKPR has been on the upcoming page for a year or so
  22. I know what you mean, I would love it MSFS, yes it's been announced on the roadmap, but with Orbx generally only announcing products within a couple of weeks of release, I'm just guessing we're not in that timeframe yet
  23. In all fairness the roadmap does say it's subject to change or re-ordering, doesn't mean it's cancelled
  24. I could be wrong but points 2 and 3 I would say potentially is out of the hands of developers and is in the control of MSFS’s ATC, I don’t know the inner workings of the ATC as I’ve not used it since FSX but I think it’s still the same since those days and isn’t the best
