A training flight but beware of Emus!

I am now heading off from Shoreham for a training flight but the instructor told me to beware of Emus!

So lets look for something to do.

2.PZgnwfP.jpg

How about some precision flying between the trees along the railway line which should be clear as Southern  Coastway West trains always run late.

3.WkJsE9y.jpg

Cripes, it's the 11:47 to Worthing. Southern must have Mussolini working for them now as their train is on time for once.

4.mzDXEbK.jpg

I don't know if there is enough room for the two of us.

5.CaqPxKH.jpg

No, and this Emu isn't giving way.

6.Hu9s7s2.jpg

Power, hah power! Enough to got out of harms way.

7.YqWamLA.jpg

No contest and I am the turkey for losing the chicken run against the Emu.

Just for those that don't know but an Electric Multiple Unit train is referred to as an Emu.

These are great Martyn!

Out of curiosity, is the European style train part of the Shoreham airport package. I have never seen it before.

From an email conversation with Tony, he indicated that he would be updating the trains in the next TEGBS update, which would be great as the NA style loco's etc look a little

bit of place IMHO in the UK.

Cheers

"Ralphie, is that a bird I see over the track ahead?"

"No, Billy, that's a bloody kite!"

"Well, we're gonna hit it, mate!"

"Don't matter for naught, Billy. It's just paper and balsa."

"WHOA! That wasn't no bleedin' kite! There was a bloke in it!"

"Well, he shouldn't a been on the track, the bugger. We got a schedule to keep."

"Right O. No blinkin' kite-rider is gonna slow the ll:47."

"Just a bug on the windscreen."

"You gotta wonder sometimes about these civilians. You'd think they'd know better than to argue with a train."

Great flight Martyn! I love seeing the trains moving ;):D

Thanks Paul, same here and this one for Shoreham has been very well done.

So good to see the railways populated flying around the countryside too.:)

Sorry John, I have missed the finer points of your comment.

You will have to send me a signal as there has been a spike in me not understanding peoples comments of late, maybe I have developed tunnel vision!:wacko::wacko:

Grand shots Martyn and I new the ultralight was the best way to see the scenery and the train.

Cheers John and it is a great way to get close up but not too close!

That's incredible level of detail!  I wonder if this can even BE achieved in P3D anymore.

TE NED is pretty close I would say and there are trains running around Eastleigh in the Southampton Scenery as well as many other ORBX add on sceneries.:)

Don't despair Jack, there is plenty of life left in P3D for a long time yet.;)

Many thanks R.

The train is part of the Shoreham pack for XP. It is similar to the Class 313s that run along this line.

That is good news about the trains being updated as that will extend the realism that the trains have already added.:)

Great flight Martyn. And I learned a lot here:

- English trains CAN be on time

- An EMU is not necessarily running around in Australia

There you go Gerold, here is one type of Emu you will never see down under.:)

Just as long as we don't get above our station, that will be just the ticket!:wacko:

I have found XP to be by far the best platform for TE.
