The Aus outback? Thats my mental image of what the outback must look like. Nicely done aircraft too.

I have stayed with Saitek after opening up my Saitek youk and tweaking it a bit a couple of years ago.

A bit impressionist I would say. Is that from a MSFS screenshot?

About 30 miles south of Innsbruck Here we are in Innsbruck. The approach requires a steep descent and the Ils in P3d is not much help with the runway 8 approach.

I do more flight simming in the winter. In the summer, when the weather is better its garden railroading and RC flying. That provides a natural break from any one hobby which is really needed.

Looks pretty good.

I always thought the cloouds in P3D, even with Sky Force, lacked definition. It seemed like the details might be there but the dynamic range was lacking. With RDShade there is a tweak that allows you to brighten the clouds and another tweek that increases the shadows which really brings out the details in the clouds.

Great shots with really nice clouds.

Nice shots. Was it raining in the default weather when you got to Dublin?
-
Very nice!
-
nice shot! I'm temped to get the Vulcan bomber in P3D. somebody must have done it.
-
Thanks guys. So far, every time I have flow into or out of Dublin with realtime weather it has been raining.

Here we are at Dublin, Ireland in the middle of a rain storm about to takeoff for Copenhagen, Denmark. This is after ssome tweaking with RDShade.

Coming into Palma de Mallorca, LEPA, in the Cessna Grand Caravan. This is the destination on a flight from Olbia Costa, LIEO.

I am a bit surprised that not more seems to have been done to develop software that would make it easy to simultaneously develop scenery for all the main simulators. I would think that would have been a priority by now. Develop an airport for MSFS, for example, then pass it through the transition software and out comes the airport in XP12 and P3D.

I notice that Volanta in P3D can display a profile of terrain elevation along the flight path of an ongoing flight. However, I only see the terrain profile as far as the flight has already gone. Can someone explain how to get a display of the the terrain elevation profile for an entire flight after I put in a flight plan? If I have the entire terrain profile for a flight plan I can then plan altitude levels for the entire flight.

I'm thinking of a warm summer day at the beach, how about you?

Nice! -
I am not simming as much as I did in earlier years.

I don't think you can disconnect time spent flight simming over the last few years from Corvid. The more or less enforced need to stay at home and out of circulation and not being out meeting people. Now that need is essentially gone for just about everybody. We are still having days in southern Oregon when its too cold to be comfortable outdoors. On those days I'm on the computer, but find my self planning changes on the garden rr. -

You have to take a break every now and then from just about everything. -

I spend more time simming in the winter months. In the summer its garden railroading and rc flying. -
Nice shots. I like to fly the non TE regions in winter. P3d looks great in winter.
