Emilio Petrangeli
Hi Guys, probably I miss some communication but... what happened to ORBX NZAA project? It was in the roadmap for 2014 and then disappeared from the radar.... I tried to search but I couldn't fine any info about it.... Thanks Emilio
John Venema
Still being worked on, should be a 2015 release for sure.

rick66
One thing i found over the years with any FTX product is waiting for a product completion adds to the enjoyment of getting it when its done!!!!....
Ed Correia
Still a way off, the assessment done earlier this year was assuming that the content provided was almost ready for release, but the quality is not quite up to standard. This has meant that the whole airport is pretty been started from scratch.
Dadtom65
Hi. Well seeing as we are in the last Q4 anyway, it will be in the next couple of months as John said. One thing I know it's obviously some thing to do with New Zealand, but what ? Airports ? Can not remember seeing anything about it.
Dave Frost
It's fantastic news that it's still on the horizon .... Cheers guys Regards Dave
NZ255
Is this the latest on AA? Hasn't been put on hold in the mean time? I know this project has been stopped a few times
Ed Correia
Unfortunately it is on hold as I process all the new installers for P3Dv3.

Bruce Hamilton
Some airports take years to complete, but the end result is usually worth the wait. I'm sure Auckland will be, as well.

John Venema
The photoreal ground imagery is done, as are a lot of the 3D models, so Ed needs to do the ground poly, aprons, runway, lights, people flow, objects, model textures and then a CP and user guide. So at a guess it's about 50-60% done but definitely a background project during all his porting and quad installer commitments.
Mac_Maddog88
NZNI and NZSI will be a must buy for me after this comes out. Glad NZ will be developed for more!
Penzoil3
Ed needs a assistant, being piled on with all the installer conversions. At least give him a raise ! LOL Sue
John Venema
I can assure you Ed is well compensated Sue We've put some things into place now that will accelerate the quad installers and get them all finished sooner.

Both NZ are a must have, sadly for you you should have bought them at the annual sale. NZAA should not be a reason to buy NZ region. They are a gem even without the actual 2 airport. In the whole line of FTX product not many, I'm not sure if even one beat the NZMF package... due to the exceptional surrounding. To any GA pilot who love low and slow NZ regions are a must have. They are on top super FPS friendly. Ben
Captain Z
I had no idea NZAA was even being worked on. Super excited now I've been wanting one (quality) large airport for NZ. An ORBX airport would certainly fit the bill.
Mickel
Isn't there only one 'large' (even then, a term used loosely) airport in NZ?

Sattybear
So sorry to sound like a broken record, but can we we get a please O please get teenie tiny look at NZAA, the desperation has become real now. I come to the forums every other day, search for "Auckland" and "NZAA" and then leave, this has gone on for over a year now. Even though i work out at the international ramp at NZAA, I wont be satisfied till i see it done properly in prepar3d
Ripcord
I think you saw Ed's comments above. We still have one or two triple installers to go.
Matt McGee
Good news! The last three triple installers (CEF4, KBZN, KSFF) are available for download from FSS! http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/119822-last-airports-for-p3d-v30/ Still not a "Release Announcements" post for them yet, but I downloaded and installed KBZN & KSFF into P3Dv3 earlier today. NBL5370
Well looks like Flightbeam might beat Orbx to do NZAA. They announced yesterday that they would be doing NZAA HD so guess we will have to wait and see who is first. NSS announced that they will be doing NZCH and Godzone are in the process of doing NZDN so looks like NZ is finally not being forgotten.

Yes I think ORBX have handed the baton over so to speak, it will be a Flightbeam product compatible with ORBX NZ scenery.
