  1. Sorry to hear this Emmsie, take it slowly and get well very soon mate!
  2. Thanks everyone! Much appreciated. I may be 56 today but still feel 18 on the inside.
  3. Anna Cicognani has been Orbx CEO since October 2019 so she calls the shots on pay rises, but I do agree that Nick is doing a superb job and we’ll discuss it at the next management meeting for sure.
  4. Yes it is very possible. I have wanted to make TE Italy for some time. However we are doing another EU country at the moment.
  5. It’s still being developed by Maurizio. Quite clearly it is his labour of love since he’s making everything by hand.
  6. 100 pre-paid copies would only cover about 5% of the development costs. I think people forget how expensive these regions are to make. 2,000 pre-pays and yes, you’d have our attention for sure.
  7. Thanks for dropping in Wendy. Neil was a much respected and loved member of the ‘Orbx family’ and we miss him too. His contributions to the hobby are being enjoyed by tens of thousands of people worldwide so his legacy very much lives on. All our best wishes to you and your family.
  8. Yes all our in-house developed airports are multi-platform these days, so P3D and XP11.
  9. Yes you do. It's called TrueEarth for a reason - that is, the muddy waters are there in real life and I'm not sure why you would want to remove that accuracy from your flights and situational awareness.
  10. Rumours of our demise have been greatly exaggerated.
  11. You're looking towards Chichester to Langstone Harbour and Portsmouth. The source imagery shows fallow fields which in fact are that hue of grey at the time the imagery was taken. I use a WIP shader I have been working on with another person for some time and it is not difficult to bring more colour into that view. Here are some screenshots I took last year, the first being the same west facing view towards Portsmouth: X-Plane has a habit of washing out its colours if you stay with the default settings. It's pretty easy to make things 'pop' a lot better and add real depth to the imagery.
  12. Cheers for the feedback, Greg and the team will be chuffed.
  13. I believe those screenshots are direct from the developer. We'll advise them to not use DoF filters in the future, thanks for your feedback - we agree
