The touristic tour of today: from Mammoth Lake ...

LaUSG.jpg

... passing default Mono Lake (yes, this was the little hint in my last where-am-i) ...

... and entering Yosemite valley from the top end. Half Dome on the left, but I could not see the "FreeclimberFlow"...

El Portal:

And on base to Mariposa O68 airfield. Just right from the trusty 185, perfectly matched to the scenery in the background.

Thanks, mates - it was a pleasure to fly. Low & slow, as so often....

Gerold I would be worried that you had been hanging around with my dad too much but he passed away in 1974. He enjoyed annoying people by mispronouncing place names like Yose Might and San Josie. I enjoyed the shots! :)

Fantastic shots :)

Beautiful shots Gerold, looks like the snow has cleared from the valley now if its fairly current date and time.

Well done in any event !!

For sure it is current date & time (& REX weather). I rather change the region than "cheating" with the conditions... 8)

My kind of plane, old and beat up, great job Gerold!!

Adam

Always a pleasure getting back to the 185.

Thanks, mates!
