Stillwater
The passengers arrived too early at Milford Sound airfield, ... ... but this gave them the chance to get some more great views of Mitre Peak. Great views are also guaranteed for the pilot here. Enough space for a canyon turn, ... ... and here we go, ... ... following Milford Sound Highway, ... ... that leads us to Homer Tunnel. East of the tunnel the name of the road changes to Te Anau Highway. We just hop over the mountains to Lake Wakatipu, ... ... leaving Glenorchy behind, ... ... before approaching Queenstown soon after. Parked at the right place, and at the right time to spot the stars. And to spot the bars, I suspect.

adambar
Fantastic shots Gerold, but I wouldn't get out of the plane if I were you, the guy in the first picture looks like he's going to rip someone's head off.

olderndirt
Gerold you know your way around the South Island. I almost wore my FSX NZ scenery out and can't imagine why it's not at the top of the TE list. That and Alaska would sell like hotcakes.

Hmm, you make a good point Adam. Perhaps that is what the other pilots before were also thinking? 13 hours ago, Aussieflyer38 said: Excellent shots Gerold, gotta love the scenery in that area, all those peaks and valleys Don Indeed, Don. Great "bush"flying down there in the fjords. 12 hours ago, olderndirt said: Gerold you know your way around the South Island. There are so many great places on earth that are worth the maximum scnenry quality. Unfortunately I will not fill up my old rig with demanding scenery, especially not if the true seasons are missing. I´ll stay with landclasses for the time being.

Magnus Almgren
Dear Mikee and Stillwater I'm glad to still have my notification on at ORBX so I can see when someone is mentioning my name. With that said I was sad the day when assiex.org was shut down and it forced me to find another channel for my repaints. My solution was an own Facebook page where I have gathered most of my repaints. So please go over there and have a look and grab what you want. To obtain a repaint just get into my Photo folders each folder is one aircraft type - I hope you will get it when you visit my page. Please "like" my page if you feel for it Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/mangotango.ch/ Enjoy!
