The good old days

Thanks Jean Marc.

I stayed at Dubbo in 2008 and did some photography at the airport but only REX there then.

I did fly to Sydney on one of this planes sisters VH-FNT in 1983. This was the days before budget airlines and Ansett were flying F-27s between Melbourne and Sydney via Albury at a discount price. It took over 2 hours but the cheap price was worth it!

Nice one Martyn, I like how low this plane is, it's a low-rider.

Thanks Jack and that is strange as I was looking at a few YT vids of lowriders the other night.

I still don't get it though (Lowriders).

Nice shot!

I flew one from Melbourne to Devonport once, no idea of its registration, though I do know it had a later paintscheme

Thanks Jan Kees, I did the same flight with Ansett but the Friendship (VH-FNR) was still in the beautiful colours of Airlines of South Australia.

Hey Martyn. One shot, many memories for the bunch of us. Nice. Thanks!

Thank you Rodger.

One of the things I enjoy is rekindling old memories with some of the images and also reading others experiences.
