It's so hot its Melton:huh:, although a lot of people tell me to go to Hell.:o;)

Time to fly the Auster from YBDG Bendigo to YMEL Melton.

1.ZvI21Uw.jpg

Heading off from Bendigo, gold rush town of the 1850s and fourth largest town in Victoria.

2,GDwbBOP.jpg

In the distance is the popular recreational water of Lake Eppalock.

3;KJloyzE.jpg

Passing Mount Alexander with Castlemaine behind it to the left.

Now following the Calder Fwy at Kyneton. The OZx rendition of YKTN can be seen to the right of the Auster's nose.

5%SJc4m5a.jpg

Part of the Upper Coliban Reservoir at Kyneton South

6*hZm1LHa.jpg

The town of Woodend and Mount Macedon, many happy memories of these places from my early years down under.

7]j4rCEHD.jpg

The Rosslynne Reservoir at Gisbourne.

Coming into land at YMEL Melton.

Spot the reflections in the window here, a nice touch. This is one of the airports from the OZx site.

That's it. A pleasant area to fly in central Victoria.

I hope you enjoyed it.

That was delightful Martyn!  Glad to see you flying over familiar territory.  Wish I could do that here but I bought KATL and it's not Orbx.  I'm hoping someday they do a 25GA or even KATL or downtown Atlanta, I'd love that.

Thank you Jack.

You never know what ORBX surprises are around the corner do you?:)

Nice try, to get away from the cold with that flight plan, but looks like you just went from cold to not quite so cold (or vice versa)! B)  You should have flown that few extra 8990 miles to OK, only 33c here & that’s not a dry heat either! :P

Excellent post btw!

I would much rather have 40°C and dry, I am not too keen on the humidity.

Bendigo is not the warmest of places at this time of year!

Thanks for commenting Adam, that is some hot weather.

Only 18°C here today and breaking the 20°C barrier tomorrow.

Hopefully up early tomorrow to clean the gutters out before it warms too much and wakes the big spiders up!:o:ph34r::ph34r::(
