Nifty flying tour Jack! It really is much more fun when you know what you fly over. That's the advantage of VFR. With IFR unfortunately, and the associated charts, you rarely know exactly what's below you...

Thanks very much Erik!  I agree, as much as I like IFR it would be pointless to use LNM when it's just cloud below.  And it's really is interesting, since it uses real maps, it adds much more to the immersion my friend!

I enjoyed your shots and narration. Thanks Jack!

Cool!  Thanks Greg, it's work but fun doing narrative like this, but for real narrative, well Martyn is the best.  I can only tell you what's below, he tells that and the history which is always interesting.

Wonderful images, Jack. As to your narration, it's very interesting and adds a lot of content and "sense", if you want so, to your screens.

Thanks Lars!  Much appreciated my friend, it really is cool to see the plane moving over that moving map and know where I am as I've never been to some of these places before and it's nice to see them named.

I agree Martyn has the best narrative.

Terrific post Jack , maybe with your next trip try to upload the flight path from LNM . :):)

Cheers

John

Thanks John, I was thinking of that but it’s difficult when the map mives to constantly keep the plane centered and I’m still not sure how to save screen shots if it.  I did it once though.

I usually take the screen shot with LNM in a wide view to get the entire trip in view . Then upload the map shot with your screenshots .
