I remember the first and only time I ever saw the Golden Gate Bridge in real life, I was in the military heading to London from San Fransisco, I was late to the airport and had a must ride military fare. They had no room so they asked me if I would be okay with a seat in first class! So I flew first class in a 747, over the bridge to Heathrow on PanAm and this is something I will never ever forget! At the time Martyn this was only my fourth time in a plane and didn't know anything as I hadn't started training yet, I was fresh out of Basic Training and was real green, shy, and nervous. So I sheepishly said I'll take it, thanks.
