do you remember when - you could set off on a planned days work and just do it without getting constant calls on a mobile causing pointless distractions and costing about an hour or two in wasted time...

Not me Wayne I hate the dang things. I take mine with me in the car, but it's never on unless I'm ordering a pizza or something and at home I have a private number on my landline telephone. 😀

I remember when the White Pages and the Yellow Pages were separate big fat books.  As a little kid one or both books served as a booster seat at the dining room table.  The new combo book would not serve that purpose at all; it's only 3/4 inch thick, if that!

... You actually had to leave your house to go and meet up with your friends.

Fortunately I still have enough old fashioned friends. But we do move with the times :)

What's app is a great way of arranging when we'll get together in the pub

All the best,

Attaching a playing card and peg on your bike spokes

to make a ridiculous noise when you pedaled.

I now have ribbons as well out of my handlebars.

I think it suites my Penny Farthing.👍

cheers

Yep, and when they went out of date, my uncle used to drill a hole in the corner and we'd hang it behind the dunny door and wipe our bums on all the people and relatives we didn't like.  😄 After the war, there was no such thing as toilet paper so you did the best you could. 🙄

Anyone else remember the A drive :)

I started on FS5 or whatever it was then named. From memory it came on floppy discs.

Probably still have them buried in the attic!

All the best,
