Great quiz. I remember 9. But then some of the others I probably only don't remember, because they have not been common here where I live.

Great!  A "blast from the past!"

I'm definitely Older than Dirt.  Easier to mention the few that I didn't actually experience.

#7.  We didn't have party lines where I grew up.  But I remember when we got a dial telephone.

#10.  Saw ads for Butch Wax, but never actually encountered it.  Brylcreme was another matter.

#20. No Packards around  in my area (that i know of) when I grew up.  Did briefly serve on a ship (MSO) that had Packard engines.

On the other hand there was little as annoying as #22, cork pop guns!  Our museum support organization sold them every year at our tri county fair.  By the end of it we wanted to murder them.  That was in the early 2000s.

I remember all of them sans the party line.

You really missed out Rob. When I was 5-6 years old we had a 4-party line. Our ring was two longs and a short. It was really great fun listening-in on the other three folks 🙂

Hello,
a party line was a shared telephone line.
We had them here in the UK too.
PF Flyers seem to be footware in the USA, aka sneakers.

Thanks Nick.

We had shared telephone lines here, but it was not possible to simultaniously use the line. Sometimes one could very faintly here another partizipant talk, but this was by fault.
