This Week's Meaningless Topic (#40) (June 12)

Recommended Posts

Hi all. In an Amazon review of my first novel, ROORD: To War in a Rubber Duck: Volume I: The Air War, a gentleman said "I am 89 years old and I venture to say this, of the many books I have read, is my favorite, next to the Bible." I have been walking tall every since--what a compliment! Which leads to this week's topic.

When a Pittsburg Pirates scout told me my curveball was among the best he'd seen in 20 years. Then he told me my fast ball might get me a job on a girls team somewhere.
