Rodger Pettichord
Hi all. In an Amazon review of my first novel, ROORD: To War in a Rubber Duck: Volume I: The Air War, a gentleman said "I am 89 years old and I venture to say this, of the many books I have read, is my favorite, next to the Bible." I have been walking tall every since--what a compliment! Which leads to this week's topic. THIS WEEK'S MEANINGLESS TOPIC: What compliment or compliments have you most treasured over the years? 6

John York
Apart from Rodger the scrounger so it doesn't count, I don't think I have ever had a compliment except from my Sheila who paid me the biggest compliment of all by marrying me! 5
W2DR
When a Pittsburg Pirates scout told me my curveball was among the best he'd seen in 20 years. Then he told me my fast ball might get me a job on a girls team somewhere. Edited June 12, 2021 by W2DR 1
