Just finished a 12000k circumnavigation of the Worlds largest Island and recorded the Cardinal Points

of the Mainland - (ex Tassie)

 

1 - the northernmost point - Cape Yorke

2- the westernmost point Cape Cuvier

3 - the Southernmost point - Wilsons Prom

4 - The Easternmost point - Cape Byron

Have also just done gold coast to cape York via inland Longreach - Mt Isa etc 

and GC to Melbourne via Parkes route - and here's the final touch

takeoff from Hobart Tasmania with nothing behind me until

Antarctica - the absolute South Of OZ

wow an amazing journey ! sometimes you had to jump in speed rocket style planes ?

And no risk to get Covid19 in such remote places :lol:

That reminds me we had to wait the full cleaning of our tent pegs at the arrival airport ... feeling a bit guilty ... B)
