Nice R, I was thinking about a storm, not a Hurricane plane.

Thanks Jack

I just realized what I wrote. I bet lots of folks were expecting a storm:rolleyes:

Great set Renault.

What are you using to get the wing tunnel 'fog' effect over the wings in shot 4??

TTM

Hi TTM

It is just

the standard "particle" effect. I have found that it is a function of visibility  (cut it back to about 10 miles) and temperature ( just play around a bit with it)

It's easy to get it set with a bit of experimentation and then pulling a tight turn can give you all sorts of neat effects.

IMHO it does look a bit silly on a Cessna so I just edited the cf file in Planemaker and turned it off.

Cheers & thanks!

Is that what they mean by a 'wet wing' - maybe not but your shots are special.  Rumor has it they're going to be even better.

Thanks. Working on it:unsure:

Hi TTM

Sorry I provided some incorrect information. I just remembered that where I ended up on this was that the effect is much more dependent on temperature than visibility.  I would use that as the primary adjustment and only use visibility as a secondary adjustment if at all.

Some aircraft give better effects than others. Most will give wing tip vortices but only a few will give really great effects. If you enjoy experimenting it's great fun and because you can make the changes as you are flying it's relatively straightforward.

Cheers & sorry for the confusion

Thanks Renault.

I am unsure which pgm is doing this - is it native XP11 or coming from say xVision, or Ultra Weather?

Thanks

TTM
