Happy you liked the post DunRingill ... I too do not love the spiders ... and snakes. Alexander von Humboldt were only once in real danger but neither by snakes or spiders according its narrative book : when he was (alone and unarmed - making river measurements) in front of a jaguar... but luckely ... the jaguar was more afraid than hungry :unsure:

Glad you liked it Taph ... and it was a pleasure to collect such beautiful pictures to insert in the shots... but not easy to collect some parts of the books as they are so long and full of details
