paulb
Just some shots from a flight mainly over Devon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devon TrueEarth GB South and XP11. Our flight starts at Exeter Airport in South Devon Heading west we fly over Exeter and the Cathedral Then we flew east along the coastline Eventually reaching Lyme Regis in Dorset and the Jurrasic coastline https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurassic_Coast We then turn around and explore the coast to the west of Exeter The final part of our trip takes us to North Devon Flying east we cross into Somerset Finally, we head north across the Bristol Channel to land at Cardiff
jean marc
Paul it is absolutely great ! wonderful ! I love particulary the lighthouse and coast line bays at 1st north Devon shot and cliffs details of Somerset coast ... and so many other tiny details (churches...) Just one think strange for me is the red/pink colors of quite a lot of the house roofs in xp11 ? is it the right color ? I have not this souvenir of such roof color in UK
Sundancer
Just marvellous Paul ! And I agree with Keats "Here all the summer I could stay". I love the maps. Flying over Exeter e.g. is so realistic, unbelievable. Yesterday evening I landed at the same runway at Cardiff in my old BN2 in the 'old' FTX England scenery, which is also nice, but compared to this quality..... Yes, Devon is a beautiful County to visit if you have the opportunity. I only scratched the surface with my shots! Most of the older houses have a dark grey (slate) roof. More recent houses (say the last 60 years) have clay tiles. They can be grey or simply different shapes of red/brown.

Glad that you enjoyed them. I will email you Sorry, but I hope that you did not try to land at Cardiff in FTX England my friend . No wonder the quality was poor! .
