Paul it is absolutely great ! wonderful ! I love particulary the lighthouse and coast line bays at 1st north Devon shot and cliffs details of Somerset coast ... and so many other tiny details (churches...)

Just one think strange for me is the red/pink colors of quite a lot of the house roofs in xp11 ? is it the right color ? I have not this souvenir of such roof color in UK ???

Just marvellous Paul !

And I agree with Keats "Here all the summer I could stay". I love the maps.

Flying over Exeter e.g. is so realistic, unbelievable.

Yesterday evening I landed at the same runway at Cardiff in my old BN2 in the 'old' FTX England scenery, which is also nice, but compared to this quality.....

Thank you Jean Marc! :). Yes, Devon is a beautiful County to visit if you have the opportunity. I only scratched the surface with my shots!

Most of the older houses have a dark grey (slate) roof. More recent houses (say the last 60 years) have clay tiles. They can be grey or simply different shapes of red/brown.

Many thanks Fred! :) Glad that you enjoyed them. I will email you ;)

Sorry, but I hope that you did not try to land at Cardiff in FTX England my friend :o. No wonder the quality was poor! .

Don

Many thanks Don! I could have posted so many more shots, but decided to keep it down to some of the (hopefully) more interesting ones :).

Thanks Paul.  But all I saw was a huge list of them, no postcards.  Will try it again.  I like how whimsical they are yet accurate.

Yes, that it all that the site offers Jack. If you want to find individual ones then search for M F Peck and look at images.

Outstanding entertaining set Paul.

The image of Exeter was the stand out one for me but they are all top class.

Thanks for bringing back the memories of holidays long ago with those postcards, I miss all of the old historical places in the UK.

Nice shots and points of interest. I will try to follow your itinerary.

Thank you Flavio. It is a pleasant flight to experience :).

The other 'large' airport in South Devon is Plymouth - if you want to expand the flight.
