Lake Tai is the third largest freshwater lake in China.

Due to the massive increase in population and industry, the lake is now heavily polluted.

The flight originated from the GA field ZSTZ at Tian Zi Hu.

A great picture Martyn. But totally uncommon clear skies for China!

I'll have to look where this lake is, as I have seen a very big one during my last China trip.

I have to be lucky with the weather sometimes Gerold.

Lake Tai is about 90 miles west of Shanghai.

That is too bad about the pollution, that is an all too common scenario around the planet! :(  That picture luckily does not reflect any type of pollution, only serenity! :)

Thank you Roger and now the oceans are getting swamped with plastic.:(

One of the great things about ORBX scenery is that we get to see places at their ideal best and not at their actual degraded present. Nice shot. Thanks!

Very true Rodger, maybe it is time for litter flow, I get plenty in my front garden.

Wonderful shot Martyn. Too bad what we do to our beautiful Planet.

Dead right Karl, I like the way tracts of forest are being cleared to grow crops for bio fuel to save the planet...….aka known as making vast amounts of money!

Oh, that´s easy. I have been travelling by train via Changzhou, Wuxi and Suzhou to Shanghai, so I have nearly passed it end of June. But, as usual, it is not possible to see anything in the distance.

I am sure Wuxi is on the northern shore!

My brother was over there too at the end of June at Qingdao, the place is getting crowded.
