Jack Sawyer
So I wanted to make a helicopter flight from EHAM to a helipad. The GTN750 showed a helipad called EHPN named P18a. I was excited because it showed it in the water, with a bunch of other ones. So I flew around Amsterdam a little and went out over the water. It wasn't there. So maybe the GTN750 is wrong? Anyway, it was a great flight. Lifting off from EHAM Heading towards Amsterdam, the opposite direction to where I wanted to go. Just having a look around and liking what I see. I have P3D set to 4K The airport looks really cool These are all in the spring and looks fabulous Heading to some delightful tulip fields What beauty! Now over water, about five miles from my "destination" Should be here. Heading back to explore this bit of land One thing I notice is no dirt being kicked up. Is this because it's TE or photoreal? Thanks for looking, it's a beautiful country and well worth it. Look forward to more exploration.
styckx
The GTN is funky with photo scenery.. There is no terrain data on the GTN for the Netherlands TE but at a number of airports the GTN will start throwing alarms about terrain elevations that don't exist at the end of the runway and to pull up. As with your missing helipads I'm guessing the GTN is reading its data from the base still or the garmin trainer?

VH-KDK
How and the bl**dy hell can anyone complain about NED beggars belief. These are fabulous views Jack and I am just about to take my first flight there. I had a search for EHPN but the only reference was this post! Must be climate change Jack, soon we will only be able to see the tops of the buildings unless we pay extra tax.

TTM From what someone else said the ships only move very slowly in the canals so you would not notice them moving very much at all.

I'm gonna post some more in a few minutes, eve better shots, it's a beautiful Orbx product. Climate change? Yeah, I could use some here, like sunshine, we've had a week of rain and flooding, so yeah, someone change my climate! 12 hours ago, Orbxtreme said: I consider them very precise shots.
