Jack Sawyer
Well, ya'll knew it was inevitable right? It's possible but not plausible, but fun! I love this airport and soon will make sensible flights all around my home area, from Hyannis to Boston, Block Island, Chester, Bar Harbor. It's gonna be fun. Never expected this and it's great work by Mr. Womack!

VH-KDK
Great fun Jack and I wondered what you had in store for us from the hint you dropped earlier. Who says we have to be sensible on here. Excellent flying to even get off the ground let alone landing the plane. I always liked the various Northwest colours schemes over the years. Leyland
Ho, Ho, Ho, I like it....... Do you remember how many of the island population were left after you flew out? Or did you not take a full load? What next? Want to try putting that bird down at MA55? Leyland
gregmorin
Hi Jack, The Town of Nantucket has a bill in the mail to you for runway repair. 15/33 is only stressed for 155,000 lbs dual tandem; 06/24 is limited to 280,000 lbs. what was your takeoff and landing weights? Great max performance takeoff. I got my daily Sawyer chuckle. Thanks, Greg
Stillwater
Great toy for a little low&slow tour around the airport, indeed. Logically you show off the coast very nicely. 2 hours ago, BradB said: I flew one these NWA Queens to HNL back in the 80's , I don't remember much ; too many Mai Tai's . I took all the multi-millionaires out for a quick flight but they had to get back to more important things like golf, tennis, and luxury yachts you know. 5 minutes ago, gregmorin said: Hi Jack, The Town of Nantucket has a bill in the mail to you for runway repair. 15/33 is only stressed for 155,000 lbs dual tandem; 06/24 is limited to 280,000 lbs. what was your takeoff and landing weights? I was told they beefed it up just for me!

Jack Sawyer
Brilliant Fred! I fly rc planes a lot, little yellow Areoncas. Fun but must be a calm day, electric powered and fun. But this, this is a whole new expensive level
flyingleaf
Oh boy Jack. Great shots but you gave that old gal quite a workout on take off. I hope you had a great meat "grill out" with them superheated brakes and some icy cold beers to go with that BBQ

I like to push things to the limits. I’ve flown in many 747’s and they’ve always been extremely powerful. If they can take off with a 101 ton space shuttle on its back this is easy peasy

Kev Thanks Kev, I study physics as a hobby too, I really enjoy it. I guess we both know helium would do nothing if they filled the plane with it. 43 minutes ago, BradB said: Nice shots Jack - although that climb looks a tad steep for my liking!
