Sammy's challenge

Jack Sawyer

There is no airport that defeats you Jack and there is another one you have conquered.

You should ask Boeing to build you a carrier version 744 with an arrestor hook, then you could land here as I see they have the wires set up for you in that second last image.

I could take off but no way can I land it there.  I know it's odd but Sammy dared me so it's his fault. :D  Right @Sammy H

I can hardly land my 747 at NZWN (Wellington) without running off the runway into the sea - so you're not alone!

How's about setting up an 80k headwind then trying?

Adam.

I would love that Martyn!   I'd love a squadron of 747 fighters! :P

Very impressive take off and nice shots of it.

Thanks John!  It's well worth it, this little airport, and not too far from the ocean for a float plane.

Unbelievable action, Jack. And I would suppose the car & the Cessna should have been blown away by your thrust, mate...!

Thanks Gerold, I would guess so!  Gosh, I didn't think of that.  I remember a lot of people in real life on the flight line getting blown around like rag dolls till they changed procedures.

What ya mean you can't land , Sawyer you have been demoted to cleaning the ramp . Just make sure you are broom checked by a supervisor .:o:unsure::D:lol:

Cheers

John

  Broom checked!  Now, where have I heard that before?    I'll get my broom and do a FOD walk forthwith John!

Now that's good advice Adam, I may do it if I get the chance.  I should have though of it but now I'm thinking something like a 150k headwind! B)

Lol Jack. Great take off. I still call Edwards AFB a S.T.O.L. And after you used that broom to sweep the runway you'll have to use that electric floor polisher from days gone by in your training:P:D

  Thanks Karl!  Yup, I can be a Buffer Systems Navigation Specialist again!

LOL! I guess you could always add a parachute for landing Jack! :D

Now that might work Paul! ;):P

Very nicely done there Captain Jack.......however challenge is not complete until you land it :lol:

As John said, you have yet to not complete a challenge so I am anxiously waiting the shots of this one......either on the deck safe........or crashed and burned. :D

In the end the story goes......"There once was a brave warrior pilot who could do anything, no mountain top he couldn't climb, until he met CHESTER!"

Hahahahahaha, wonderful budy, glad to see you got through this one and got her airborne, although Adam did offer up a nice suggestion for trying to land.

Thanks Sammy, but I might have to lose this challenge.  I don't think it's feasible, I only do this stuff to test the limits of the sim and it really wouldn't work.  And Adam's suggestion was brilliant too.
