I can´t decide which city is more important to Jazz: New Orleans?

Jackson, MS?

Or Chicago?

So I just turned around above Lake Michigan...

... to Holland. I mean, the city of Holland, MI.

And into Gerald Ford International airport of Grand Rapids:

A good starting point for some short distance flights in Open_LC NA-land, I think... B)

Great shots Gerold, I really enjoy that 757 for flights around the US too :)

Without a doubt - New Orleans! Chicago, St Louis, Kansas City, Jackson, Harlem - all important for sure, but New Orleans is where it all started!

Cheers,

Jarrad

Beautiful scenery and striking livery, real eye candy. I need you to put your hand on your heart and say that #8 and #10 are not RW!:lol::lol:

Best,

Lucky

Always both a pleasure and a challenge to mix these shots. But it also increases the awareness for the outside world when sitting in a tube plane

Great trip shots, Gerold!

How about a trip across the pond to our side of Lake Michigan?

Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison or Appleton (all Wisconsin) would be great places to bring a Delta 757 charter.

Steve

I have to think of that direction (in summer only...), but I wouldn´t have RL shots of this area...

Thanks Jarrad. I doubt we can have JazzFlow near the bars of that city, like the birds singing on some of the more rural airfields?

Great shots, Gerold. And you seem to remember Bing Crosby and Satchmo in "High Society" ;);)

And there was even another singer in this movie, Frank something I think...

Your Lake Michigan shoreline shot is inspiring.  Watched "High Society" recently and was reminded how much I loved Grace Kelly.

A masterpiece, this movie I mean. With enough sense of humour to see it over and over.

Great scenery and a beautiful colour scheme on the 757.

Wonderful RL shots too, what camera do you use?

Thanks, Martyn. In this case it was a Sony DSC-HX9V. Lots of shots in my posts have also been made with a Canon IXUS 115 HS (a very small easy-to-carry one), meanwhile I moved to a Sony RX-100 III (superior quality).

Hopefully Gerold your RL trips won't end any time soon , we would all be a bit disappointed if they did . :(:D

Cheers

John

I can return these wishes, John, I know you travel the Pacific from Alaska to Australia...

And still there will be some part of the globe left that we have to cover virtually (not too bad, and not really a pity, sometimes).
