  1. The Daher Kodiak is available from the Orbx store Mutiara II Airport is now also known as Komodo International Airport near the town of Labuan Bajo Over Lombok, heading towards Mount Rinjani with its interesting Crater Lake Segara Anak is a crater lake in the caldera that was formed during a volcanic eruption in 1257 next to Mount Rinjani on Lombok Island in Indonesia. The volcanic cone Gunung Barujari (which you can see below in the picture) is at the eastern end of the lake, 2,004 metres (6,575 ft) above sea level. The lake covers an enormous 45 square kilometres (17 sq mi), and has a maximum depth of 230 m (750 ft). Approaching the Western part of Nusa Tenggara The Unter Liangsona Mountain range east of an area called Lopok The small Pulau Sangeang Island has two active volcanos: Doro Api (1,949 m or 6,394 ft) and Doro Mantoi (1,795 m or 5,889 ft high) We have reached our destination Labuan Bajo, a fishing town located at the western end of the large island of Flores in the Nusa Tenggara region of east Indonesia. Bajo is the gateway for trips across the nearby Komodo National Park to Komodo Island and Rinca Island, both home to the famous Komodo dragons.

  7. Orbx Alaska mesh This nicely polished PMDG DC-6B wears the markings of her Northern cousin, the last Canadair C-5 North Star "CHARLIE FIVE". C5 was the only pressurized aircraft in the Canadair fleet of North Stars of the DC-4M/Argonaut/C-54GM/C-4 variants. It was also the last produced, and only C-5 variant of the North Star fitted with PW R-2800 Double Wasp radial engines. To the members of 412 Squadron, the aircraft was known as “Charlie Five”. During much of its fifteen-year career with 412 Squadron, based at RCAF Station Uplands Ontario, this reliable queen of the executive aircraft fleet carried delegates for VIP Transport Services. Most of the political leaders of the Western world were carried by the prestigious airliner. Some of the names recorded on C5's manifest included, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh in 1951, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Emperor Haile Selassie, the Netherlands Royal Family, Minister C. D. Howe, and all the Prime Ministers of Canada from 1950-65. Following its official retirement from RCAF service on 28 April 1966, this once stately VIP-class airliner was sold and unceremoniously scrapped in the United States. What a pity. A much less famous (and much less lavishly equipped) North Star is now with the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Rockcliffe, Ontario and parked in their reserve hangar, while undergoing restoration. Luckily, in MSFS Charlie 5 is still in her prime! Flying along the picturesque Pacific coast, we cruise at the moment south of the Grand Plateau Glacier towards the Glacier Bay Nat. Park Entering the Glacier Bay Nat. Park
  8. Great comparison shots, as always Gerold! The good thing is, although we still cannot travel there, we luckily have our memories and photos/videos
  9. Very nice! Did you arrive with all four engines running?
  10. Nice shots, Adam. The first one puzzles me a bit

That bird is a joy to fly, only a bit slow Thanks a lot, Gerold. I'm really happy to have this bird now in MSFS, and in a really good quality. Finally I can lay the old FS9 to FSX to MSFS converted freeware one from O. Fischer to rest I'm glad you liked this trip, John
  13. Oh how I love these adventure tours. I assume that freight hall at your destination is fully air-conditioned
  14. Great screenies Wayne. Sorry to hear about your CTD in mid-flight. Utterly frustrating, I know that feeling too. Luckily it happens with me only rarely.
  15. Orbx Himalaya mesh It will be a bit of a challenge for the good old Auntie Ju, but she will handle it
  16. Many thanks for your comment and I'd love to be there now, Graeme

  18. Many thanks, Adam. Much appreciated. Thank you very much, Wayne. Hahaha, I'll do my very best! Many thanks for commenting, Landon! I'm glad you like them, Gerold.
  19. Excellent screenies, Steve, and I understand where you come from. For my part, I'll think I stick to MSFS, although I have all TE sceneries for both P3D and XP11. It is just too convenient to be able to hop to any corner of this world and have it in TE quality. For this convenience I am willing to accept some of the shortcomings of MSFS
  20. Rise and shine, it’s burning daylight. It’s time to finish our second leg into Caloundra We have reached Brisbane On long final into Caloundra
