  1. Many thanks Landon for helping me keeping a "positive memory" Thanks a lot, John Many thanks, Gerold, But I'm not so sure, whether I like my landing a lot. On a more optimistic note, the roll-phase after touch down was very short Thanks a lot, Jean Marc. Yeah, very far from home You bet, John and thanks for commenting Once you get used to fly this thing it is actually quite fun, give or take the odd three fatal mistakes you seem to do all the time
  2. Very nice indeed, Landon. Renton is for me the most amazing scenery development for MSFS and it shows, what we can expect in the future.
  3. Very nice, Gerold and quite some interesting comments too. From own experience, Rotorua is not only famous for its hot springs, but, depending on the wind direction, also for its smell (like rotten eggs) from sulphur
  4. Very nice shots. Can it be that the two boats that are actually moving, are from the Henrik Nielsen AI ship traffic.
  5. Great screenies Jean Marc and a nice livery! Are you trading in illegal goods again?
  6. Very nice screenies, Andy! Jack, Robert Randazzo from PMDG announced a few days ago that the 737-700 will be out probably by the end of this month. So lets keep our fingers crossed
  7. Great shots of the Mriya, Graeme and a sad end to it. I recently read that one of the pilots had warned management already a week earlier to get her out to Leipzig, where their other planes are parked presently.
  8. This Boeing 247 is one of the most demanding planes I have had for a long time. Absolutely fascinating and as we will see towards the end, plenty of things that will go wrong if you don’t follow procedures. Do we have GPS or autopilot? Forget it, but I can offer you fuses that you need to switch or replace, if needed. Near Mount Aspiring Nat. Park Above Lake Hawea Lake Pukaki Lower the gear, please Gear has been lowered. Lock the gear, please Lock the gear? Lock the gear!! What’s that? You fool didn’t lock the gear, did you?
  9. Glad to see it's working for you too, T. Now we need a couple of new liveries for the old lady.
  10. Mighty fine flight, Gerold. I hope you made it safely back in one piece (from the Alps, I mean )
  11. Thanks a lot, John Many thanks, Ken Many thanks, Andy I'm happy you like them, Landon Thank you so much, John Hahaha, you are absolutely right, Gerold ! Flying this old lady is hard work, so he offered to get me a stiff one Thanks a lot, John Many thanks, Wayne (I'm glad you are not another John ) Thank you for your comment, Iain I'm glad you like them, Adam
  12. I have been to Auckland a couple of times. This scenery is spot on!
  13. When the website was launched last year, I was curious what the .to stands for. Then I found out, it means the website is registered in Tonga
  14. Many thanks John Thanks a lot, Jean Marc Thank you very much for commenting, Landon Much appreciated Many thanks, Wayne. The bridge goes from Gibraltar to the coast of Morocco, but only here in MSFS. In reality, there is none Thank you very much, Adam Hahaha, Borkum Riff is good, but I prefer Cuban cigars I also suspect that Orbx did an upgrade to its first release, which is fine. Now the single engine version takes off with more ease and can reach a top speed of some 85 knots, but I wouldn't pick her for crossing the Alps. But this, I suspect, was the same with the rl plane, so no worries. Thanks a lot, John
  15. Hahaha, I didn't mean that, Jean Marc. With Tonga I meant our usual download site "flightsim.to", which is registered in Tonga
  16. Wow, buddy!! I did know this one is available. Not that just a few hours ago I bought another half-a-dozen Orbx sceneries. Oh well, here we go again
  17. First reviews of this plane weren‘t too favorable, so I thought, I’ll pass this one. But as I’m a sucker for vintage planes, yesterday I caved in and bought it. After a few flights I have to admit I really like it, also the single engine version. Admittedly, it isn’t the easiest plane to fly, but that is at least for me more than half of the fun. Here we are parked with the single engine KLM version at the Gibraltar airport. I plan to cross the Straight of Gibraltar in order to visit the new bridge that has been constructed. You didn’t know? Well, I read about it on the internet, so it must be true. At around 50 knots we are up in the air Trick is to keep her level right after take-off, so she can build up enough speed to gain higher altitudes further on And here is the new bridge. Quite a massive undertaking And surprise, surprise, no ship overtook us.
  18. Very nice flight and you gave it (again) an impressive paint, Jean Marc!! I assume we can pick it up not too far from Vanuatu, in Tonga, again
  19. Superb shots, Adam. My favorite is the first one, so life like!
  20. Two nice shots. Landon and happy skiing. Don't break anything
  21. Many thanks, John Thank you very much for your comment, Landon. I also thought that the Nieuport will be a good fit for this flight Many thanks, John. The scenery is MSFS default Thank you very much, Gerold. They were great actors for sure. I'm glad you like them, Gumby Many thanks Adam, also for the song Thanks a lot, Wayne. First time I see this clip
