Stillwater
No need to climb high after today´s start at Brisbane... ... instead, it is a challenge to fly that low & slow along the river! We were really surprised when we witnessed that action in 2019. And this is how Graeme looked at the same flight:

boetie
It's great to be able to recreate it Gerold. Nice touch with the real photo. Cheers Graeme

Sniper31
Super cool to see that C-17 flying along that river in an urban environment. But then, I am not surprised knowing firsthand how capable that aircraft is. Must have been a great show in person! Landon

But I fear a) it does not fit into our schedule and b) the festival may not be held at all... 8 hours ago, Ian St said: How weird, we were on that bridge watching the action at Riverfire in 2019 as well! Now that is outstanding. Two forum members on the same bridge at the same time. Though... it was quite crowded, no wonder we did not recognize the other flight enthusiast there... 1 hour ago, Sniper31 said: Super cool to see that C-17 flying along that river in an urban environment. For me it is really difficult to fly the virtual C-17 there - and they even do it in real! The were followed by F-18s, at even higher speeds. Donno how they manage that... at least with some noise!

Sorry mate, I was paying attention to the Globemaster going over me at a very low altitude, not people watching
