Departing Scampton, the first home of the famous 617 Squadron who flew The Dams Raid from here in 1943. 2. Nearby Lincoln Castle and Cathedral. The straight road is the A15 which is the old Roman Road, Ermine Street. 3. Passing back over the City of Lincoln. For over 200 years, Lincoln Cathedral was the world's tallest building.
