olderndirt Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 Decided to try the 'Enhancer' beta with local weather (according to LR). Turned out to be fairly representative - typical between fronts fall weather, low clouds, flyable visibility, low tops and not much above. So here I am, airborne off Olympia with a load of 'must connect' passengers for SeaTac. As you can see, vsby's not bad but lots of low scud. The scud's not bad but flying a few hundred feet over built up areas doesn't generate much passenger enthusiasm. Out on top at five thou' - told the folks we'd make an instrument approach to Seattle. Here we are, on vectors to the 34C ILS final approach course. This Cheyenne blends right in with all the screamers. And not bad again on short final - most of it will burn off by afternoon. You are getting very good results with your experimentation - the cloud rendering looks pretty realistic I especially like the horizon effect with the low hanging cloud/mist in the first screenshot just under the aircraft Glad you were at the controls -- with me the passenger list would have been very small indeed.
