All Orbx all the time :)

Just made a nice flight From Calgary, CYYC to Winnipeg, CYWG.  Used all appropriate SID & STARs.  Real weather with AS4.

I loved it.

Ya, going east towards CYWG is definitely flat, but just west of CYYC is the total opposite. we have the foothills and a beautiful skyline view of mountains looking west.

This is where I work Mon-Fri during the day, my shop is in the NW corner of the Air Canada Hangar, if you zoom in you can see my white shop van parked outside the back door.

Many years ago my first wife and I came up for the Stampede , we also visited Banff . We ran into a blizzard heading south over the border and ended up in Browning  MT for the night .

I have just visited those hills (the Rockies) two days ago I am on a family holiday from UK to Western Canada. Went to Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. We are currently in Sun Peaks tonight and heading back to Vancouver tomorrow for our last four days before arriving back in UK on Friday. Where I plan to purchase Orbx Oregon. I do wish the Canadians would let JV and the Orbx Team have the BC and alberta photo / Ortho pictures they require for a reasonable price so we could all fly over Canada as well.

Lovely shots, Jack - nice area too, in a previous life I used to fly to Calgary, then on to Edmonton and then by road to Cold Lake for an exercise called Maple Flag at the airbase there.  It always amuses me that I could do that drive with snow everywhere, but in the UK a half inch or so would stop the traffic!!

Very nice!  Western Canada would be a dream trip for me.

Thanks Kev!  Maple Flag, now that brings back memories, I used to go to Red Flag in Nellis and didn't they have some Maple Flag exercises in Nellis?  Not sure, they all blend together now.

Great to see another one of your "by-the-book" flights, Jack.

Thanks Gerold, I’m making a Virgin Australia 777 by-the-book flight from AYPY to Cairns as I type this.  I like these kinds of flights but I hope I don’t run people the wrong way with my other kinds of flights

The float planes in Vancouver Coal Harbour are amazing Jack

Now that looks like an amazing place to live!  I would love to live there and get away from the deep south's oppressive heat and humidity and I love snow.
