Adam Banks
My update to P3Dv4.5 went smoothly. Many thanks to those tireless ORBX devs behind the scenes that made sure all the scenery works as per normal. I've only made a few flights - and all looks good to me so far! The all too familiar NZMF startup ... The dreaded pause at the end of the runway appears to have gone (and all objects render fine). No problems with the waterfall either: Another familiar sight! On the way to ... wait for it ... ... you guessed - St. Martins Bay! All shots with the updated PTA 2.65 (a new preset coming from me soon!). carlosqr
Wow this is outstanding! I'm so impressed by the way all looks...so real Is it because of your settings or due to the update? Both maybe? I want to set mine with such same realism as this is my second favorite

I want to set mine with such same realism as this is my second favorite I've really done nothing new ;). NZMF is always my first "go to" scenery to test out a new update, as it has incredibly varied topology and vegetation- all in such a tiny space. You can almost point the "camera" in any direction and get a breathtaking view. Full credit really needs to go to ORBX for this outstanding area - they really pulled out the stops on this one! All this glorious scenery is helped by a tailor-made PTA preset - which, I have to admit, is probably more biased to the NZ palette as that's where I seem to spend a lot of my sim time. Default P3D is pretty chronic, IMHO, but it does at least give a solid foundation for tweaking - which PTA does well. Thanks for the nice comments and "likes", folks! Adam. Nothing like living dangerously eh? I backed up all my .cfg files first though. Also - don't forget (after the upgrade) to re-run the Global Elevation thing in FTXC (and clear your shaders cache) or you might get some weird texture mapping. Adam.
