John Venema
I was playing with XVision and Ultra Weather XP combined around Grasmere and Ambleside in the Lakes District. The colours really popped out so I was obliged to get my camera out and take some snaps. It's hard to imagine this is the UK, it looks astonishing! If you plan to get TrueEarth GB Central, do not miss visiting this area!

RiddlesdenLad
Might have been my comment that got zapped cos it's not here now - wasn't aware that it had got double posted somehow though. Anyway I commented about xvision. I looked at this when it was free but now see that's its payware only and because it works with shaders there's no guarantee that it'll keep on working, or at least won't stop working for periods as x plane progresses and the xvision developers play catch up. It's not a lot of money so providing it doesn't impact on frame rates I think I'll take the plunge...
Jack Sawyer
This a new level of realism John, can this be reproduced with this fidelity in P3D or is ZP going to have higher resolution. Really amazing stuff you guys are producing!
Dadtom65
Absolutely bloody Amazing, sorry but it is. All I can say is the Pacific North West will be amazing too. Derek.

Lucevan
That is what it looks like. XPlane and TrueEarth are making VFR flying in the sim a reality at last.
fltsimguy
Thanks for posting John. I as yet don't have XVision, but I can see the potential here. Very helpful.
hkterry
The download file size is 14.9 GB, how about the installation file size for this Central area. I am afraid that when finally the Northern part is out I have no disk space for just an UK main island.

This may change for the final version, but it won't change by much. Cheers,
John Venema
There will probably be an extra few hundred MB in POI models and textures to be added for RTM, so 80GB is about a good rough estimate

Fizzelle
At last it'll make my practice "low and slow" runs over Ladybower Reservoir even more compelling now - albeit I'm a few years late for the real show!
