VH-KDK Posted September 29, 2018 Share Posted September 29, 2018 The first part of a flight from Wollongong to Jervis Bay JYBY, in the Firefly. 1. Taxying out at YWOL. I had better not act like a clown here. 2. Time to straighten the wings before I forget. 3. I had an eventful flight on VH-OJA 23rd Sep 1992 from Melbourne to Bangkok.30 minutes after passing Darwin there was a call "is there a doctor on the plane?" 15 minutes later we turned back to Darwin and then had to wait for the re fueler as there were no planes scheduled that night. Apparently one of the cabin crew was taken ill. Over 4 hours late and lucky that the missus was still waiting for me at Don Mueang! 4. I have been on this one too but only a walk through on the ground at the Mildura Air Show in 1996. 5. Some of the wonderful HARS collection. 6. How about this. Look at the mirror that actually shows the true reflection. Well done Bravo Zulu. 7. Off at last, the Griffon sounds very nice especially at start up. 8. A low pass before heading south. 9. A splitar$e turn to put the Firefly through it's paces. 10. Over the Minnamurra River and the western edge of Kiama Downs. Hopefully to be continued.
