  1. Loved the story, happy you shared it. Merry Christmas to all.
  2. Fly Tampa has their own type of support. I'll make a note of this option in Orbx Central basically giving an error message when you click on User Guide and there isn't one available. Here's what my scenery packs ini looks like in total. 1000 Version SCENERY SCENERY_PACK E:\X-Plane 12\Resources\plugins\SAM\lib\SAM_Library/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_0_airport/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_3_mesh/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_B_Landmarks_Brisbane_YBBN_Mesh/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_Brisbane_Landmarks/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_YBBN_Brisbane/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Airports - KBTV Burlington/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_1_overlays/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_2_default_overlays/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Portland/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/PAYA_Northern_Sky_Studio/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Global_Forests_v2/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/KPSP_Palm_Springs_Axonos/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - EDLP Paderborn-Lippstadt/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - LFMN Nice Cote d Azur X/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - LPFR Faro/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Berlin and Frankfurt/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Budapest/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Chicago/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Dubai/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Las Vegas/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - London/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Los Angeles/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - New York/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Paris/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Rio De Janeiro/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Saint Louis/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - San Francisco/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Sydney/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/X-Plane Landmarks - Washington DC/ SCENERY_PACK *GLOBAL_AIRPORTS* SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_XP12_Library/
  3. In Orbx Central on the EHAM page is a link to support at Fly Tampa. https://www.flytampa.org/support.html In Orbx Central on the EHAM page is a link to support at Fly Tampa. https://www.flytampa.org/support.html EDIT I just installed EHAM (to an outside Library but that shouldn't make any difference) My scenery packs ini is different. The order of FlyTampa EHAM's four entries should be (from top to bottom) SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_0_airport/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_3_mesh/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_1_overlays/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/FlyTampa_Amsterdam_2_default_overlays/ It looks like you have the mesh entry below the overlays. Maybe this will help. I toured the airport and don't see any mesh issues on my setup.
  4. Thanks Iain, and a Merry Christmas to you and all the members here at Orbx.
  5. Always happy to see one of us make another trip around the sun! Happy Birthday Derick.
  6. I'd have to say at the bottom of the Trinity River in N California. Was gold mining under a dredge and stayed underwater for almost 7 hours! To this day I recoil at the thought of getting into cold water. Got enough gold to pay my college expenses so that was the good part.
  7. I'll attach my two files for you Michael. I'm not a Dev so don't have extensive knowledge about how to diagnose this in the log.txt. I'll be away fishing off the coast of San Francisco the next few days but hope you can find the reason it's not loading. scenery_packs.ini Log.txt
  8. I checked again you you are right, my shot is default. Went back to Orbx Central and did a Verify Files for KPSP, now showing v 1.0.0 Started the sim but still saw the default. Closed the sim and checked the XP12\Custom Scenery\scenery_packs.ini and found the *Global Airports* entry at the top. Cut and moved it to the bottom, saved and restarted XP12 at KPSP. Looks correct now.
  9. In your last shot you mention XP11. Is this the sim you have the issue with? Your last screen looks like my install into XP12. From what I know the *Global Airports* needs to be below any addon airports/sceneries.
  10. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling? I just installed KPSP to XP12 and it looks like this to me. Try moving the Global Airports entry at the top of your scenerypacks.ini to the bottom. EDIT Looks like I have Global Airports entry above my KPSP so that's probably not the issue.
  11. Speaking of bears, anyone else see this video of a canned salmon commercial? Cracks me up everytime. Alaska or Canadian bear I think. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1122959098461499?fs=e&s=cl
  12. All these are worthy goals in life. In addition my Dad always told me to never let anyone outwork you.
  13. Besides watching my grandsons play my best memories are from Ted Lasso.
  14. Love Fort Vancouver! Bought a period style brass compass there once that enabled me to win a survival course while recreating the 1820-1840's early American Fur Trade period. btw Ken, thanks for the book recommendation "Once They Were Hats". Very good read!
  15. Thanks for the great info! I'm bookmarking the links as well.
  16. Back on topic, last night I checked and changed the loadout on the PAC and was able to make a climb to 13,500 in almost exactly 13 minutes at a steady 1,000'/minute climb rate. Did have to adjust the prop rpm a little and the airspeed did slow to 90 kts near the top but overall I was pretty happy with it.
  17. Beautiful work AGE! First time I've ever wanted a flt sim video to be longer.
  18. Remember him well. So many high school dances with his music to set the scene. RIP Jerry!
  19. ""Kind of guessing the limits depicted in the MSFS menu aren't the actual airplane limits."" 100% agree with this Perk! I've always wondered just how accurate the menu for CG was to the actual aircraft. My guess is that it may be close most of the time and not at all close in others. In testing I've found the default CG settings after the initial install needed to be adjusted manually . I'm going back to check mine and run the numbers you show for a climb. They say it's about 12-13 minutes from brake release to sky dive jump altitude (13,500) in the PAC and can squeeze in about 6 turnarounds without refueling in a day. Love this plane. Thanks for those links Nick. Most informative for sure. On another note is anyone having difficulty trimming for level flight without the AP? I have an old Saitek Cyborg evo joy stick that I use. I've assigned two buttons on it for up/down trim. Maybe just too old? Or maybe I'm just too old.
