Orbx airports visited in real life - a rolling story

Somewhat near Arlington in Washington state US. I mistakenly had my daughter drive right onto the beginning of the runway (just opposite from the house with the pool) so I could get a better angle on the shot, when the lady of the house came screaming out, waving an orange flag telling me to get the Heck out of there! -

Nice one Matt. 🙂 Here's one in Washington. It's a screen I just took because when trying to take the real picture I ran into some trouble. -

Two legged running water.....lol....nice one Ken! I remember all but Packards and the party line telephone. Good times growing up in the 50's and 60's, a different world without internet, social media. We had to actually go outside and play after school. 🙂 -

Nice one John! No issues with the update here either and I waited a day for the ATR and got a discount on it. Now I'm watching UTube videos to learn how to start/manage/fly it. I'm usually a kick the tires/light the fires type of pilot but I'll take the time to learn this one. The FMC is a bit daunting but only because I haven't any experience with one yet. Good thing I'm old and don't have a curfew! -
Got the ATR in the sale as well. So far two of the 4 screens don't show anything when starting ready to fly on the runway. Guess I'll have to look at the checklist....lol.

I almost had a picture of Monroe First Air but realized too late that I had my daughter drive right onto the run up area at the end of the runway. Wondered why this lady in a nearby house was waving a yellow flag and yelling at us. Looked up and a C172 was on short final! We hauled a__ out of there and the pilot got to practice an emergency go around. Didn't have time to snap a pic. -

I think I got it, KMYL McCall, Idaho Checked in the sim and that tower gave me the final hint, maybe. -
This has helped me already Bassman. I have a folder for N America and within I have separate folders for each state I have scenery. Also found that it helps if I only install one scenery at a time and run MSFS. I tried several at once and got a CTD. Easier to find the culprit if you check one at a time. Here's a screen of how I have it set up. MSFS is on my G:/ drive as are two other scenery folders. One for MSFS Community Mods and the other is for Orbx sceneries. Found it useful to create some presets within Addon Linker to activate various regions to save loading time. I leave some items like Shipping active in all presets.

Thanks Paul, it really is a work of art. I think I've exhausted my personal pictures of Orbx airports. I had quite a few from the PNW. Time for another trip up North! -

I'm guessing Vancouver International in British Columbia. -
Rodger echoes my sentiments. Paid for a plant at the Nursery yesterday for a complete stranger. Didn't make it to my truck before she ran after me to thank me. Tried to do it on the sly. She asked me why and I told her we need more kindness in the world. As for me I'm almost finished with week 4 of not watching any news outlet for national or international news. Feeling much better for it. Not that I'm uninterested but I was feeling overwhelmed with the negative press....had to take a break.
