  1. Even I went for the refund! Not interested in work arounds to port over v5 scenery to v6.
  2. That was fun to watch! Thanks Carlos for sharing. Looks like the campout utility was used also. I just might have to spruce up my campsite at Vines now.
  3. Whenever my wife ask "Why?" I try to stop and remember...........better to stay quiet and be thought a fool, than to open my mouth and remove all doubt"!
  4. Hi Rod, Personally I would think having both on the C drive is perfectly acceptable. However, you may want to create an outside Library on another drive for all your sceneries, both for P3D and MSFS. That last TB of space will fill of fast on your C drive and you often need space on C just to install other things. (even if they are being installed to a different drive than C). Just my experience.
  5. Great shots! This is close to my home so I better go have a look see.
  6. I'm good with a bbq but can make most anything. Like Nick, my wife does most of the cooking but I act a sou chef and clean up crew.
  7. Only fiber I get is from my breakfast oatmeal.
  8. Like Paul and others I try to bring only respect, helpfulness and politeness to any forum I visit. As for the misfits, where would we be without them?
  9. Good job Orbx! Glad to see it's someone I see on the forums too.
  10. I normally use clear skies because I'm testing new scenery and have to spot small details, but for general fun I use the Few Clouds to add interest and be able to see the scenery below. Been known to through in a few nasty weather presets just for fun sometimes.
  11. That video was amazing! Just the Ag sprayer and water bomber would keep me entertained for hours, esp if you could actually put the fire out and not just drop water on it.
  12. Only thing I found to be really impressive was the spray effect behind the Ag aircraft, but hey, you never know. And it's fun to see new stuff coming along.
  13. Grew up across the bay from SF in the 50's-60's. In addition to the above.....concerts in the park with Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane. Nights at the Filmore West, cable cars up and down Powell, and yes, Carol Doda! lol
  14. Still looking but I'm stumped. S45 is the only msfs scenery on the coast in the Orbx Direct catalog that I can find, esp since the clue mentions a good looking coastline. It's not Bowerman is it?
  15. Rod, it may be on the East coast! Can't tell from such scant details. Reminds me of KFOT Rohnerville or maybe KEKA Murray Field too but that's not available for msfs. Maybe it's one from P3D?
  16. S45 Siletz Bay? Oregon coast has some of the best scenery I've ever seen.
  17. So I could go fishing and flying at the same time!
  18. My wife says I'm good for nothing. It nice that she has such low expectations, makes my life easier.
  19. Listening to the gig at Madison Gardens now, great choice Adam. I've seen both Clapton and Dylan live. Dylan at the Monterey Pop Festival in June of '67, Clapton in Texas a year later. He was with Cream then. Two of my favorites!
  20. 1. Your first pet. Tweeti...a green parakeet 2. Your first bicycle. A big bike with no brakes my Dad got from the Sheriff's impound. Didn't realize it had no brakes until I got to the bottom of the hill by my house. 3. Your first girlfriend. Linda Moore......were were boyfriend/girlfriend from Kindergarten to 7th Grade 4. Your first real skill as a kid. Mumbly peg I can still throw a mean knife 5. Your first hero (real or fictional). My Dad, he was a Deputy Sheriff and I was sure he was saving the world. 6. Your favorite candy bar as a kid. A Big Hunk 7. Your best pal(s) as a kid. Paul and Mike since 5 yrs old. Both in my wedding in 1971 and still in touch with them today.
