I have a couple taken last week. First one is easy but the second was taken from the air. Both either Orbx or partner. Second one is at the bottom of the picture. -

Orbx airports visited in real life - a rolling story
Rob Abernathy replied to Stillwater's topic in General Discussion
Reminds me of Orcas Island. -
Y'all are a busy lot! ๐ Seems I've always had a job until being able to retire 12 years ago. Started out at 10 with neighborhood lawn service, paper boy, then a fast food joint. Fast forward to a 4 year stint in the US Navy as a photographer. University for Horticulture '71-75. Stayed in this field the rest of my working life. Built a retail nursery from scratch, was the head grower for a wholesale nursery (field and greenhouses), managed a retail nursery for 3 years, had my own business for 3 years and ended up as the head Groundsman for a large school district doing landscaping and maintenance. Still have lots of garden interests and taught gardening to K-5th grade kids for 6 years.

EGBM Tatenhill made by Burning Blue Design
Rob Abernathy replied to Bert Groner's topic in General Discussion
I just installed EGBM to an outside Library on the same drive as MSFS called "Orbx Scenery". EGBM shows ok. Maybe try creating a Library in somewhere other than C:\User\Username\Documents and see it that works. -

I couldn't see it either by clicking on the start arrow but at the upper right is a "copy link" that I did and that works! Watching it now. -

So sorry to hear this Wain. My heart goes out to your family. I know the pain of losing a companion that is loved like family.

Our family spent 2 weeks in Yosemite National Park every summer, close to 20 weeks in total over time. Still love going there and hiked all over the valley and upper areas. Other than that many short trips to the Calif Gold Rush foothills areas to go fishing and a few trips to the boardwalk at Santa Cruz on the ocean.

That was awesome Adam! I saw them in 1967 at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, among others, good times. -

The "Older Than Dirt" quiz.....
Rob Abernathy replied to W2DR's topic in The Neil Hill Memorial Lounge
I remember all of them sans the party line. My parents had a party line when I was 1 yr old, so I was told. Got Dirt? ๐ -
Not sure what's going on there Jeff. The 3 sceneries look great to me. There is a drone at one of them flying around, static aircraft, fires in the evening, fish jumping, well placed animals, rocks, logs, etc. Very atmospheric I think. As a tester I have access to the Campout Utility but I've never installed it. I can see in the description for 3 Idaho strips that having the Campout Utility would be good (to add more if you want) but it shouldn't be mandatory. Can you take a screenshot or two and show me what you think is missing? I can compare to my basic install without the Campout Utility and see if their is an issue mine or your install?

I wonder how many here remember these days
Rob Abernathy replied to John Dow's topic in General Discussion
Yes, well done John! I had the pleasure of meeting John V while working at the FltSimExpo in Tampa Bay, FL in 2019 -
The stroll to Louie Louie was my favorite. Best to not get too sweaty, don't want to ruin it for the slow dances. btw, I remember in the late 50's early 60's having more slow songs than fast ones. Or do I just have more fond memories of the slow ones?

Happy Birthday Eberhard Haberkorn
Rob Abernathy replied to gumbypickett's topic in The Neil Hill Memorial Lounge
Happy Birthday Ebo, miss you in the testing arena. -
Three homes come to my mind. One where I grew up in a valley across the bay from San Francisco. Best parents ever and a great neighborhood. Mostly all WWII vets moved into a new subdivision next to a creek. Easily 20 or so kids my age. 2nd home is where I raised my 3 kids and lived with my wonderful wife until I lost her after 39 yrs together. 3rd is where I am now with a new wife (also wonderful) and a garden almost as nice as John B's!

That was a good watch, thanks Frank! -
Like you Steve, I ran out of space on my C drive. Local PC shop replaced my 250GB SSD with 1 Terrabyte SSD for $200, parts and labor. Plus they cloned my old C drive to the new one.
