  1. For me it would be two planes. First of all a small single engined prop which I could fun fly by myself (need to get a PPL first of course). And then a business jet (incl. crew) for fast travelling with family and friends, thinking of anything between a small Honda Jet and a Citation Longitude, but not too big for being able to access also smaller airfields.
  2. Then he still has many years to come. We once had a cat, who left us at the age of 18.
  3. I am so sorry to hear this Iain. I wish Mr Rollo all the best and may the vets find nothing bad on Monday. Please pass on my regards and wishes to Mr Rollo. PS: he is so cute looking on the second pic you posted. May I ask you, how old he is?
  4. Also, if you have unknowingly lost internet connection, the above mentioned menu items would be automatically set to off and greyed out.
  5. @wain71 Hi Wayne, in my last post I forgot to mention, that you easily can check by yourself, how MSFS looks without internet connection. Just go to Options/General Options/Data/Data Connetction and there set "Online Functionality" to off and do a flight with this setting. Cheers Wolfgang
  6. I experienced that once. Scenery is becoming quite ugly, no satellite/areal ground imagery any more (just landclass), no PG (what was no problem for you, if I remember correctly - I couldn't fly without it) mesh loses quality, AFAIK also vector data are gone, the scenery looks just like in early FSX days. Edit: and of course no live weather data. Default enhanced airports looking like stock.
  7. Yeah, looks like the pelican sculptures at Rose Bay.
  8. @boetie Happy Birthday Graeme! Hope you had a good one. Sorry for being late, but I did not pay attention to this thread, because I don't know anyone called Boatie.😁
  9. Now I know, why you are wearing a hat on your avatar Ron. 😆
  10. I had to look up the meaning of "chastised".😀 And the forum's spell check doesn't seem to know the word either. 😄 That confirms the topic's title is right. PS: Edit because of bad grammar and spelling.
  11. When a developer says "as soon as possible", it might take loooong...😄 Sorry, couldn't resist 🙂
  12. But the hole sim is photoreal. I have seen similar effects in default snowy scenery in Greenland also.
  13. I think that's s good guess, because the name of the vessel indicates Toronto.
  14. As many others, I suggest flying in the PNW. Here is the then famous video of Patrick Scharnovsky aka Jigsaw, which was officially used by Orbx to promote their first outside of Australia scenery, namely PNW. This video made me changing my mind and to finally switch as a diehard FS9 fanboy to FSX, only to be able to fly in this groundbreaking and innovative gorgeous PNW scenery.
  16. These plugs tag every add on (payware and freeware) airport, POI, building etc. Not sure though if they also tag every object coming with sceneriy packs like the Orbx GB series.
  17. Carlos, if I understood you correctly in the other thread, you like to have stars in order to easier locate your add on airports on the MSFS flight planning map. The stars are not an indication for add on airports though but for all enhanced airports. Also the default enhanced airports like e. g. the default EDDF come with a star. The indicator for add on airports is this funny looking small symbol (a plug?) you can see left of the star in John's screenshot above.
  18. Absolutely! And definitely the oldest still "really" active thread in these forums.
  19. Thank you for sharing Adam! This brought back memories of my visit of the Amish community in Lancaster County around 1990.
  20. Definitely not in Scandinavia 😁 But seriously, the stripes on the taxis look spanish.
  21. Thank you very much Adam! 😊 Herzlichen Dank, Gerold! Ich hoffe, du hattest eine schöne Zeit in Tasmanien.
  22. Yes, these green "arches" (or what you will call it) look like Hobart.
