A real handful

Oh, goodness! That accu-simmed P-51 does cry out for attention when flying... I have the Warbirdsim P-51 which is a hoot to throw around the skies - but this A2A version is quite another kettle of fish...

Anyway - I checked her out on a flight from Jackson Hole past West Yellowstone to Bozeman (chosing a high-altitude starting point probably was not one of my best decisions)

A great set of shots Mallard, an yes she is a handful to fly especially when trying to take off, there is some much power in that engine you can compare it with a formula one racing car you have to know what you are doing else things can go badly wrong.

Cheers,

Ruud

Thanks, mates!

It took me four attempts before I actually made it off the runway in one piece without ruining the engine (or bending the propeller) :D I guess it is one of those planes where it does pay to RTFM...

Cheers

Mallard, these are seriously some of the best screenshots I have ever seen.  I'm going to PM you and ask about settings, because I have DX10, and the airports in this set, and mine looks nothing like what you have here.  They're absolutely stunning!!!
