Tasmania tour part 7: Launceston to Cradle Mountain

OK, I have misnumbered the last part of my tasmania tour ( http://www.orbxsyste...-to-launceston/ ), it was chapter 6 already. However, let´s proceed into the central tiers from Launy...

Soon after takeoff from Launceston I had already mentioned earlier the Country Club Casino of Prospect, and the missing lake in front of it. So, mates, here it is - photo taken by me, but not from simulation:

One more time the TasAlk chemical factory - great guys working there!

Then parallel to the Alumn cliffs ...

... on the southern front of these cliffs you might visit the wildlife park ...

... and north of Mt Roland we take a break at Claude Road airport:

Than we fly south over Lake Barrington ...

... and cross Dove Lake.

But, hey, this lake is so charming ...

... we have to return with a copter from Cradle Mountain airport and try to get a better impression:

Thanks to all of you for the kind feedback!

I like your perfect mix of FSX-screenshots and your photos, Gerold! Only the shoreline of the FSX-lake looks strange, is this still a ORBX-scenery?

Thanks, Fritz

Yes Fritz, that´s pure Orbx. What a pity the shoreline is moreorless looking like FSX default - that´s life...

Gerold, you really are a wonder.. what a great combination of shots.. Teecee.

Thank you Terry, you know you did a great job on the virtual sceneries here!

Wonderful set of shots Gerold.

I like the real life photos mixed in.

Been to these locations many years ago, thanks for stirring some memories.

Like to hear that you also have seen some of these places in reality. To me this makes these tours much more joyful - and I am convinced I need to return. Unfortunately the flight distance for me is a bit longer than yours...
