I'm a little scared of my new add on....

Recommended Posts

so I pushed the boat out the other day, I bought inibuilds A300, I sat in the virtual cockpit and thought 'um this is a little different from the usual Bus'....anyway I then got PMDG's 777, wow this is a lot different, I'm feeling a little apprehensive with this one, seems a lot can go wrong, I will definitely have some reading to do here....I have been using the 737 to sort of prep my mind into the Boeing way though obviously this is a completely different ball game... I think I may get airborne in September 😁......

@wain71 I flew the PMDG 777 in P3D many many times, so the step was not so big for me.

But: I miss a tutorial flight for the Boeing, or, to be more general: Any documentation at all.

If that was published, I would update my checklist for that bird - and then be able to share it.

This unfortunately seems to be the zeitgeist Gerold. Also the Fenix A320 only comes with a 13 pages manual, or let's better say brochure, which mainly deals just with the plane's EFB.

@Stillwater @wolfko I agree with you both, I do much prefer a nice tutorial in pdf form that I can print off and learn at my own pace...I bought the Challenger 650 for Xplane a while back, I have never flown it as they refuse to publish a tutorial and when approached they direct you to YT videos which I don't really like...I have a checklist but it's not the same... Just flight have always done really good tutorials .....

Yes, I fully agree, Just Flight planes always have excellent tutorials included.

Nothing to worry about Wayne your sitting on an office chair mate. 😁

I think I am more concerned about some error and the sim has to be restarted because of some fool (me) presses the wrong button...

You are beta testing planes for Just Flight, if I remember correctly. So you can't be so foolish.:)

That is good to know, as the upcoming Avro RJ is on my hit list.

thanks everyone for the kind wishes and comments, had a chat yesterday with the Doc, it seems the Cardiologist has now reviewed the info and decided that the original diagnosis of an enlarged heart was actually incorrect, the doc I saw in hospital was not specialised and a second opinion was sought so good news...however I have to have another Xray and ECG just to be sure....I've also discovered that back in 2020 when I had the Cardiac Arrest I was having a heart attack,  I am on meds for my LAD artery that is partially blocked but cardiologist said that because of my age and the condition he feels medication will help a lot with this but may need a stent or something in the future... so our house is a happy house again and life can get back to normal but I will definitely now take more care regarding my diet, though it's not to bad but I have a weakness for cakes and biscuits...

again thanks everyone, this shows why this place is such great place, because of you caring lot, you're the best...
