Looks like A2A are getting around to working their way through their back-catalogue. The MkI and MkII Spitfire is the first off the block.

There's some lovely ORBX NZNI scenery down below (honest!!) ... as it's a MkII version of Brendon Deere's MkIX Spitfire seen regularly in NZ.

The green stuff is FTX NZNI - around Ardmore (NZAR) - always a treat. Our winters are mild in the North Island, so we keep our windows (and cockpits) open all the year round :lol:.

do you mean it is still flying at present in NZ sky ... or it was many years ago ??

It's a MkIXc - owned by Brendon Deere -  restored in the colour scheme of his father's (Al Deere) personal MkIX Spitfire when he was Wing Leader at Biggin Hill.

Amazing shots comparaison !!

And I remember Al Deere from the great book of Pierre Closterman - a famous pilot, good leader and "grand monsieur"
